STILL HAVE RESERVATIONS ABOUT THIS
I purchased this set last month for my Bahamas vacation. The handle on the small spinner was defective out of the box and did not have time to return for replacement. It was difficult to maneuver . I agree the handles are not sturdy. The expandable zipper pull on the large case broke off at some point. The small cosmetic case is not a piece I will use. It has a poor design. I really like the leopard print and received many complements on these at the airport , hotel and shutlle driver. Now I am returning them for a replacement. I hope they hold up for my future travels. I also really liked the TSA locks on the spinners, colors and prints are fun. Keeping my fingers crossed. I guess they held up well considering the distance I flew ( Washington State to the Bahamas).

Combination Code
I have a complaint. Purchased my luggage last year going on vacation in May I called the Hays Company about the combination I called them 5 days before going on vacation because I don't know the combination code for this luggage I never had a combination always a key for my luggage. I called and left my name and phone number for them to return my call about 4 times never received a call from the Hays Company.

Beautiful!
I just came back from a trip to Boston and had used my Heys set for my trip...I purchased the Paisley set and I love it!!! At first I thought it was a little thin walled but it really is sturdy!! I was able to pack so much and still fit in3 lap-tops and have room left over! The paisley is a fun but not to crazy color...and the ease of rolling it around makes it so convient...I also love the fact that when not in use all 3 pieces fit together for easy storage. My reason for the 4 stars....the cosmetic case is lovely...but I had been hoping to fit my curling iron in it, and it's about an inch to short..other than that I love my set!!!

Horrible smell and not sturdy
I bought the 3 piece set and had the same horrible smell. It has been 1 year and the smell is still there. The plastic is difficult to remove, the scratches and scuff marks are permanent and the airline stickers do not easily come off. This last trip the large suitcase was damaged at the handle.

A good deal...
My daughter received a set as a graduation gift - -the color is awesome and traveling with it was effortless and much, much easier all the way around. So I decided to order a set for myself, in a more mature color, and so far so good. My only complaint is that there is a problem with setting the lock on the largest piece. I've just let it go because didn't feel like returning and unlike the set my daughter received, the middle piece does not have wheels that can be locked.

REALLY LIKE THIS!!!
Time to update our luggage so I got the silver for him and floral for me. It did travel by plane from the east coast to Vegas and back. While it did get a bit scratched, etc. from baggage I'm certainly going to try the magic eraser as suggested by another writer. Other than that, they held up great and the rollers are wonderful! I rated it a 4 only because the pull-out handle could be a bit more sturdy especially for the larger one. The carry-on does fit on the plane. And the hotel limo driver remarked at how the floral was so different and easy to spot. Lots of room for packing what we needed.

So So Classy
I purchased the leopard print set and I love the looks and ease through the airport .Especially all the attentention that it receives. It is beautiful. I used the middle size carry on for a 10 day trip and was supprised that I fit everything in it and was able to use it as a carry on and did not have to check it. The only thing is that I could not use the expandable feature for then it would not fit in the over head. So keep that in mind when packing. I haven't used the 26" yet to check in , hope it doesn't get to scratched when do cause it is so pretty and classy. Love it !

I have the metallic leopard. Love love love the leopard. I love the ease in which it moves. Packs well, traveled well. Most of all I love the train case as it holds all my pump supplies! Best purchase ever!

Best Luggage I've ever owned
I have had this luggage for 5 years and travel monthly. It is light weight, holds up to plane travel and I can always "spot"' my bags coming off the plane. Every time I travel someone compliments me on the bags. I've owned dozens of bags through the years and none ever performed this well no matter how expensive.

Absolutely Beautiful
Don't hesitate to purchase this luggage. After reading the reviews, I decided to write my own and hopefully put some peoples minds at ease. As for the odor of the luggage, all you need to do is take a capful of the new Downey Unstopables and place it in the luggage, zip it up and the next morning your luggage will smell great. For all those reviews that claim this carryon bag won't fit in the over head compartment, take out your old carryon bag and compare this Hey's piece. My old luggage is slightly taller and the same width. I have never had a problem in the last ten years using it as a carryon. I am confident it will serve its purpose and beautifully so. Lastly, for anyone worring about the black marks you may get after traveling, you can use the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser to remove all of the marks and your bag will look brand new. Buy this luggage. You will love it for its beauty and ease for all your traveling.

Wouldn't Recommend!!!
Okay for car travels !!! terrible for the plane I used it one time on the plane and it came back completely scratched and cracked and totally damaged would not recommend it at all... Very disappointed
