HealthSmart Ultra Compact Lightweight Rollator
Health Smart Ulltra Compact Lightweight Rollator
I bought this for my son, and he is very delighted with it. He finds it easy to fold and store in his home or auto. He finds it easy enough to maneuver when using public transportation. He finds it comfortable and sturdy enough that he can sit in it to rest. The rollers are positioned so that they don't cause him to connect with them and stumble. We cannot say enough good things about this Rollator. This would make a wonderful gift to anyone with a need for assistance in walking.
Pros, Cons and Notes to help others
I found the HealthSmart Ultra Compact Rollator to be very useful in providing stability when I walk. Unless it falls apart in the next 30 days, I will keep it. However, there are things the customer should know about that were not discussed in the presentation, so I am going to set out the pros and cons of this product – especially since it is health-related. I have two types of arthritis and fibromyalgia – I have fallen 7 times this year, so I needed this product.
Provides even distribution of my weight instead of feeling “one-sided” on my cane, which can cause distress in my shoulders.
Pouch provides a way to carry my camera, purse, water, etc.
More freedom in where I choose to go because of the stability factor
Portable in the car
Instruction booklet is useless. Print is too tiny to read even with my strongest readers and a huge magnifying glass. Took an hour to assemble, and if it had not been for the QVC presentation video, I would not have known how to put it together.
Still can’t figure out how to attach the pouch so it doesn’t keep falling off.
While the seat says it holds 300 pounds, and I weigh less than the maximum, it does not feel strong when I sit on it.
SPECIAL NOTE for cane users: If you use a quad pod cane or one with a large base, the cane holder will not work as it’s set up to do – you cannot fit the larger cane base into the little cup that is meant for old fashioned traditional canes. However, I discovered that if I reverse my cane with the pod base upward, and rest the handle of the cane across the top of the cup, the Velcro straps will hold it there.
SPECIAL NOTE about negative reviews: I noticed some people talked about the back wheels being too large or “tripping them”. These people are not walking with the device properly. I urge them to ask their physical therapist or physician to show them the proper way to stand between the wheels of the Rollator. It truly is an helpful device.
Happy, Happy, Happy
About 6 months ago i bought a great walker/transport chair. The advert said it was lightweight. It looked just like most of the others i have seen. I brought it home and until i used this one i thought it was cool. I have walked more in the last two days with my new one that is truly lightweight than the last 6 months i have owned the other one. It is much smaller, weighs much less. Pushing this one is smooth and easy to do, the other one the weight is heavier and you really notice the difference when you use it.
I would recommend this to anyone who wants to really get around easily.
love the purple color too! :)
Gave me back my freedom
I love my purple rollator. It has given me back my freedom to shop at mall's, flea markets, craft shows, grocery stores ect. I have arthritis which prevents me from walking long distances. My Rollator lets me walk on uneven ground and sit when I need to sit. It is worth every cent I paid for it and then some.
Extended back wheels
As a handicapped person with MS, the back wheels are way too far back. Very inconvenient and not able to turn in a circle of a small area.
I had a knee replacement and was off walking around the neighborhood on this the first week after surgery. This is agreat all terrain walker! I kept walking during recovery and could improve my recovery faster by always having a handy seat if I became tired and a bag for carrying my water!!! It allowed me to get up and moving!
Fabulous, was a lifesaver on our trip.
I have 2 total knee replacements and total shoulder replacement. I have severe arthritis and have used a heavyweight walker for many years. We travel on cruises to Caribbean often. It was so hard to get in taxi's and busses with the large walker. I bought this one and we just returned from a week in New Orleans and a cruise.i cannot tell you how great this was due to it's lightweight and the way it folds. We were able to move so much easier. I would recommend this to anyone!
My Mom has enjoyed her Rollator her only suggestion is that the seat be padded.
Good job QVC!
Life Changing Purchase!!!
Wow. I have had this walker for a little over a year now. What a blessing it has been. I was so used to staying home due to lack of mobility from a back injury. Too painful to walk with a cane even with a spinal implant for pain. Resistant to a walker because I felt it would not help (and I was too young)...wrong on both counts.
This was the BEST purchase I could have made and the purple color is so modern. I would not hesitate to purchase this for anyone in my family (or friends) needing a walker.
For those who say that the back legs come back too far, this design allows for better balance of the unit and you are meant to walk between the legs up closer the seat and there is no chance of tripping over the legs.
My Parents Love this Rollator!
I bought this for my Mom and I think my Dad has now taken it over! Going back for another! Very easy to use and light weight enough to put in or out of the car with ease. If you're on the fence, jump off! Thanks QVC!
Roll later Light Weight
I love it :) i am a young grandma ; took it to an indoor water park was able to get wet and go with my grand kids all over with out a worry about the water.
I had a much bigger walker and it took up the space of another person now it fits in there car and I am now ask to come along !!!
I can rest and set a bit and am included. I even took it to church and several suggested they might pick me up sooo cool. it is a blessing for any person.
My Mom Loves This Rollator!
My husband and I got this rollator for my Mom as an early Christmas present and she loves it. She is 92 yrs. young and needs the support and balance of a walker, she worries about falling. (We worry too!!) She has been using one of those simple walkers with the tennis balls on the legs!! She lives in an independent living apartment and gets along really well with getting to the clubhouse for meals and entertainment. She is surprised at how easy this rollator pushes and no more step-lift, step-lift-drag!!! She especially loves that it folds flat!!! She said at meals, the walkers are all lined up against the wall in the dining hall and she can fold hers away! We got it in Purple, so she's really a stylin' lady! She said she's been stopped and complimented on her rollator...that makes her feel special. And that makes me so happy!!!!!!!
