Boring Selection The value was good if you want "just a piece of chocolate". I am close enough to the store to go pick out what I want. The variety was poor. It didn't interest my family for sure. Lots of candy left over. 01-12-11
Not a Big Fan I was looking for creamy chocolates and did not find them here. It was certainly okay, but not wonderful -- and if I am going to blow my calories on chocolate, I want it to be wonderful! 01-08-11
Absolutely perfect- delicious- fresh- want more! We are very 'picky' about our chocolates, we thought we'd share some of the 6 lbs, but I'm 'shy' to say, we ate it all ourselves. I am thinking of ordering another box, but it's on waitlist?? do not hesitate to try this candy....it's GREAT! 01-03-11
These were good and everyone liked them but... there were only a few of the white & pink candies which, of course, were my favorite. I probably won't purchase this again as it is kinda pricey but the candy is good. 12-28-10
Disappointed The candy wasn't bad, but half my box was the solid squares, I was expecting a mixture. Mine didn't have much of filled pieces. I wanted more variety, don't think I will buy again if I can't be sure of the mixture. 12-21-10
Not an assortment I first ordered Harry London Choc. in october. Mine were great. I read other reviews and couldn't figure why theirs weren't so great. I re-ordered another tin just like before and there were only about half of the varieties shown out of the 6lbs. 2nd order was stale. I ordered this other variety for christmas because it had some different flavors. Well, they left out alot of the flavors. I ended up with almost all caramels and solid milk chocolates and only a small amount of others. 2 flavors aren't even included. Someone needs to do an accurate job on filling our orders and not to just throw 6lbs. into a box. Never again will I order anything from Harry London. 12-20-10
Not An Exciting Gift to Receive I received this "assortment" of Harry London chocolates as a gift this yearl; I bought them the previous two years to split up and put in gift baskets. I am more and more disappointed as each year goes by, as the quality of this chocolate has gone down hill more and more each year. This "gourmet" chocolate is waxy, grainy and the fillings are definitely NOT the creamy centers that the Harry London rep so carefully takes out of the centers of the chocolates during the presentations. I definitely was not expecting top quality chocolate for $8 plus a pound, but I also didn't expect this poor of quality. I might as well go and buy drugstore chocolates; at least I will know what to expect. The "assortment" of these chocolates is getting poorer and poorer each year. This year I received 49 solid chocolate presents, 8 pretzel joys, 16 French vanilla mochas and no caramels and few chocolate pralines, etc. If I wanted to have solid chocolate, I would go to the grocery store's checkout and grab a few candy bars. Harry London needs to do some serious quality assurance in both areas: the quality of the chocolates and the breakdown of the chocolates the end up in the box. I hope that Harry London and QVC's buyers read these reviews and take them to heart. We don't mind paying $50 for a box of chocolates, as long as we get what we are shown during the presentation. 12-18-10
Definitely Not As Represented Very disappointed in this assortment gift I received. They failed to include all of the products represented in their ad plus they put in 16 pcs. of a horrible tasting raspberry crunch, none of the milk chocolate crunch, no pralines, few caramels, etc. Hate to admit to my sender that it was a "bummer" of a gift. 12-18-10
Love the Box instead of the tin! Always have great intentions of giving away the chocolates when they come in the tin but only happens occasionaly. I have lots of left over tins. The assortment was pretty good but could have used more joys. 12-17-10
Disappointed I order this assortment last year and was very pleased but this year there was not much of an assortment, mostly just the chocolate presents. As ususaly the chocolate is great but there was no assortment at all which was a disappointment as I separate this candy for create several small individual gifs. 12-17-10
Disappointed - Assortment Not as Respresented I received my order today and reviewed the assortment. Like some other reviewers, the assortment I received was not as represented. I received NONE of the milk chocolate pretzel joys (the first chocolate shown on the current presentation online) and only 9 of the white chocolate pretzel joys. I received 43 soft caramels, 34 milk chocolate caramel creams, 30 french vanilla mochas, and 48 chocolate presents, which comprised the majority of my assortment. There was a small amount of the other 3 chocolate varieties advertised. I too found the chocolate to be "waxy" on the chocolate presents, in my opinion it did not have the "melt-in-your-mouth" presence that is so important in gourmet chocolates. I feel that if the assortment of the chocolates portrayed in the presentation is not in equal amounts it should be so stated so that there are no surprises. Sorry, but I'm disappointed and guess I should have stuck with the chocolatier that I am accustomed to. 12-16-10
Very disappointed I was looking forward to receiving these chocolates for the holidays and was so upset when they came. They looked old in appearance and taste. Nothing like the oozing of fresh filling presented on TV. Will donate to a food bank. 12-16-10
