Wish this would come back
I really like how you can add the weights to these bars...wish they would come back so I can order some more...I prefer to have the weights set up, ready to use, rather than changing weights from one exercise to another...I have a couple of these that I use with different weights that I bought here on QVC, in addition to the DVDs, which I use & like...please bring these & Harley back, QVC!!!

Great Versatility, but Costly
I've been using the Harley Bar along with his exercise video for about three months. The a strong pro about the bar and accompanying weights are that the set is versatile. The ends of the bar may be combined with weights into hand dumbbells; the segments of the bar may be made into different weighted lengths of an exercise bar; and the entire bar may be connected to the weights for dead lifts. In addition, the bar and weights are compact, and may be broken down for easy storage.
The equipment, of course, works perfectly with Harley Pasternak's 5-Factor video, and it is nice to have an increasing challenge every four or five weeks when a new shipment of weights arrives.
The cons are that, as people have mentioned, the bar is made of rather cheap material, and silver ends do indeed peel and wear off easily. Also, I was extremely disappointed that, when I ordered the bar with weights that it did not come with a carrying bag for the weights--very cheap indeed on the part of the company. For every shipment of additional weights (four individual weights in each shipment), I am charged nearly the same amount as the separately sold weights alone. There are eight weights in this set and it comes with the bag. Harley/QVC could have, at the very least, added the bag for the weights given that the bar is overpriced and the subsequent shipment of weights cost so much--and that you're purchasing the entire set. Very cheap indeed, and sad. I would have bought this as a set for others, but it's just way too overpriced.

Wonderfully versatile!
I really like the versatility of this workout bar. I like to use hand weights when I am on my treadmill. For the rest of my exercise program, some exercises require hand weights and some require a work-out bar. I love that this bar gives me both! I am also on the auto-delivery program to receive the add-on weights to make make my workout even more versatile. This is a quality bar at a good price.

Not for me
Like another reviewer, I've decided I like hand weights better than this. I also feel that the price is a bit much, so I'm returning it.

i like free weights better then the bar.
I tried the bar this morning along with the 5 factor workout. I don't know maybe I am not strong enough to do this bar with one arm but I find free weigh much better for the workout. I will have to send it back.

love the bars
I got these to incorporate with Harley's 5 factor program. They're a wonderful item, compact and easy to use, I like them the best as one bar to work on the back of my arms but i also use the smaller ones while working out on my stepper, all in all, a perfect purchase. Harley rocks, I've lost 5 pounds in 3 weeks of his program so far, the 5 exercises are so easy to follow, who doesnt have 25 minutes? come on?

This is a fantastic addition to the dvd and is well worth the money, very compact and easy to use!
