M21824 - Hanging Basket w/Built in Water Reservoir
Wonderful, Wonderful, Wonderful, Won.....
I love these baskets, I bought 11 of them! Seven went in my porch and four went above my garage door. They were easy to snap together, but it does require patience and you have to take the time to make sure all the components are properly fitted together. If you
do that I can see no problem with the assembly. I also like that the hanging rod comes up through the center of the basket, it gives the basket much more stability and makes it easier to turn the basket so the flowers on the other side receive sun, once in a while. The hanging rod is much better than having those little chains holding the basket up by the rim. Much less chance of a hanging basket catastrophe, LOL) I used soil so the baskets are heavy when they're watered, make sure whatever you're hanging them on can handle the weight. Or use a light soiless mix.
Love this hanging Basket!
I bought 3 last year and love them! I planted them with verbena last summer, and they looked fabulous! I replanted with pansies for the winter, and they held up well all season. Getting ready to clean them out and plant them again for summer.
Best hanging baskets I've every owned! So much easier to get a round, full look. I've had metal hanging baskets with coco mat liners from my local big box store for years until I found these. Usually good for one season, then they need new coc mats, and planting them in the round is a pain!
I purchased two and planted Wave Petunias. They look beautiful!!! I purchased two more. Can't wait to get them. Easy to assemble
LOVE THE WATER RESERVE
Easy to put together. Less watering throughout the season. Either way its a win, win!
Nice and different pots!
When your plants have grown its so beautiful. My husband was trying to help and he put the pot all together for me. Well he had to take it apart so i could plant the plants in the pot. I had bought 2 of them. I put them both on my front porch. One man asked where I got them and I told him QVC. He said his grandma would love them because they are different.
most disappointing purchase ever
planter did not go together easy, wound not snap in many spots, or popped out , almost impossible to "break down" - did not come apart easy at all once it did snap together - I will use them for this year but never again - next year all 4 that I bought go in the donate or tag sale pile - also very heavy
I think the idea of this hanging basket is terrific! I seem to be the only one that had a problem though with snapping the rings together. The demo looked so easy. I tried to remove one when I snapped it without aligning it, and could not get it apart. Not good for weak hands like mine.
I really like this product
I did not find this exceptionally heavy, as some other reviewers have, and I am 70. I had to lift it over my head to hang it and had no problems. The flowers I have planted are doing well - it does leak water and I placed larger containers below them so I'm watering two pots at one time. I don't think I would put succulents in this pot but my annuals are growing nicely.
Planted my tomatoes in the ground and decided to try some strawberry plants in this hanging basket which now hangs off my arbor. With 3 layers of multiple plants and full sunlight it is wise to water heavy. So far everything is thriving!
I love this hanging basket...I want another one. When are you going to get more in?
A great idea and easy to assemble
I planted mine yesterday and found it very easy to assemble the unit with plants and dirt. I plugged the hole where the hanging rod goes - with plastic, because I am NOT hanging mine. I have a bird bath that has a cracked cement bowl and after buying a new one, I decided to re-cycle my old bird bath by moving it to my back patio and using it for a flower display. I had to add a brick under this unit for the lower flowers to clear, but it looks great. So, I am looking forward to seeing cascading flowers hanging down from this bird bath this summer.
I Love This!
I decided to wait a couple of weeks before writing a review just to see how this fares. I live in Ohio where it has been raining quite a bit, lately. Anyway, I bought my petunias and planted as stated. It has been over 2 weeks and the plants are as vibrant as ever. I am quite pleased with this product and by no means am I a green thumb. The basket is not heavy and I went easy on the potting soil because when placing the plants in the holes and on top, the soil seems to be sufficient enough. If it wasn't for all this rain, I would need to water some more but found I do not. Excellent product. One more note: It has been very windy and gusty and I used a heavy duty nail, then tacked it to where the hook won't slip. It has fared very well, blooms beautifully and my petunias are thriving beyond belief. Do not hesitate to buy. Great purchase!!!!
