Hairdo by Ken Paves Clip-In Bangs
It looked so fake and weird! it also doesn't clip on securely. Too bad it is too late to return. Keeping it in my drawer, gathering dust!!
Great for a quick fix HAIRSTYLE!
I am a hairstylist by trade and I LOVE these clip in bangs. If I am late I put all my hair back in a ponytail or bun on top clip in the bangs and sometimes put a headband on so I dont have to waste time blending them in with my hair! Sometimes I will use a scarf wrapped around my head knotted in back so it covers the line between my natural hair and the bangs. I bought them for my daughter too.
Straight cut, fake looking. Just imagine Moe, of the Three Stooges, on a bad hair day.
I can't wear this
It looks so simple but I cannot figure out how to get it into my hair and blend it in. Also it is very hot if I do get it on. I will just keep fighting my own hair!
Sad to say I returned this. I really love the idea and hoped it would work but all the people who saw me in it were my family and a close friend and they all said it looked fake and scary on me. The color matched quit well but the texture of this is very different from real hair that you can see where my hair ends and this clip-on begins. I will say that it is super easy to put on and stays on very well. Maybe it's just me I don't know but I'm surprised with all the positive reviews. I am willing to try a wig next before I give up on hair pieces totally.
Give me some wave at least.
Another one where I loved the concept but it didn't work. I have wavy/curly hair. These were straighter than straight and no matter what I did, I couldn't get them to hold a curl. The clips were fantastic, holding them firmly in place even with my chemo thinned hair. Give me some frizzz!! LOL (And some salt and pepper, more pepper than salt). Still love them just need some curl.
Great for thinning hair.
As a senior citizen, my hair has begun to thin on top and because of that could not have bangs like I used to. I bought these bangs in the dark brown. They are very realistic and easy to clip in. Would love for QVC to keep them in stock more often as I would like to order another color.
Love the product, but you tell me how to cover the top of the bang. There is a ridge. Thanks
covers gray roots
Loved the bangs. I wanted it to cover my graying roots on brown hair which seems to show every 2 weeks. I just wish Ken would make them have the look of some foils in it to look more real and match better with all shades of brown. I put foils in my own hair to help hide the stark contrast of gray on brown.
Love This Thing!!!
I have baby fine hair, but a lot of it. These clip on bangs are a perfect match color wise and look so natural. The first day I wore it everyone told me they loved my new hair cut. These bangs give me more styling options without doing anything drastic to my own hair. I will be looking for more products from Ken Paves to buy in the future. I would recommend everyone try them and if it doesn't work for you, send it back. NOTHING is one size fits all!!
Not my favorite hair piece from QVC
I have bought several hair pieces from QVC and usually have gotten lots of compliments on "my" hair when I have had them in. This piece however doesn't appear as "real" when I have it in as my other pieces do. Now, in it's defense maybe I am not putting it in properly. My piece didn't come with any instructions or recommendations on the best way to put it in your hair for the best results. I will keep trying though.....
Love it but...VERY DISMAYED!!!
First, the good news: I ordered these bangs in Dark Blonde/Buttered Toast and they are a PERFECT MATCH to my own hair color, which has multiple highlights and lowlights. And I really appreciate how Ken Paves designed it to look so believable. The reason I rated it 4-STARS is because the 3 little clips beneath it aren't substantial enough to grip onto my own hair & so it slides around up there. I bought these bangs because now that I am in my 60's, sadly, my always-thick hair is now thinning up there, and that's why I need them. But with such tiny clips, there just isn't much of my baby fine hair for it to grab onto. I will probably keep them, and practice some more. But I'm a little nervous with these March winds and being out on the Prairie. I just hope they don't go South! I do hope Ken Paves will address this issue.
I'M VERY DISMAYED because I've considered buying his wigs for about a year, but the wig styles I wanted either disappeared for months at a time OR the styles return but are available in only black or red!!
Something else I would like to see improved on is to make all blonde wigs with a little darker roots. That helps disguise that you're wearing a wig. And please, please do not have all those styles where the hair on top is so overly thick, and the top hair all combs forward from the crown? It makes it look like you're wearing a swim cap or have severe bed-head. Thank you.
