Description
From HairMax, the LaserBand 41 features a lightweight, flexible design that comfortably accommodates various head sizes. Recommended for men and women ages 18 and up, the soft hair-parting teeth allow the laser light to reach the entire scalp, bathing it in gentle, therapeutic light. No heat, no tingling. Fine for all hair types, including permed or color-treated hair.

An earlier model of this device, the HairMax Laser Comb, was the first medical device clinically tested and FDA cleared to promote hair growth in both men and women with certain degrees of hair loss. In clinical studies of another HairMax model, after 26 weeks:

-Over 90% of male and female users had an increase in the number of hairs
-The average increase in hair count for men and women was 129 new hairs per square inch

How do I use it: Place the flexible LaserBand 41 over your scalp like a headband, moving 2" every 30 seconds until the entire scalp has been covered. LaserBand 41 will vibrate every 30 seconds to help you time the application. For best results, follow this procedure three times a week regularly.

HairMax LaserBand 41 Hair Growth Laser Device is rated 3.1 out of 5 by 50.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from It's working I started using HairMax in Oct. 2016; I have experienced pretty significant hair growth since then. I used to have to wear my hair up fastened w/a clip to hide very, very thin spots that exposed my scalp. Now, I can wear my hair down! I will say that w/all my knew hair growth that I've got a lot of fly away hair& hairs of all different lengths, but I'm not complaining. I guess I have a big head, because the band is not loose on me like it is for others. The only thing that's annoying about the band is that you do have to hold it on the last position at the back of the head or it may fall off (that's why the 4 stars instead of 5). Also, my sister uses both Rogaine and the HairMax and her hair growth has been thicker and has grown faster than mine. She is thrilled. Try it! QVC has a great 6 month return policy. You have nothing to lose.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Didn't work for me I received the LaserBand in late September 2016 and started using it on October 1, 2016. My hair was thinning a lot overall, but particularly along my right front hairline, and I was hoping the LaserBand would reverse it. I'll admit that I used it inconsistently the first 2 weeks, but then I established a routine and used it every other day without fail. I took pictures on the 1st of every month for comparison and did not notice any new growth. I was also taking 5000mg of Biotin twice a day and 1 Hair, Skin and Nail pill. The amount of hair that I was losing decreased, but I'm attributing that to the pills. I returned the LaserBand because it was too expensive to not work for me. If my hair starts thinning again, I'll consider repurchasing it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing - I have more hair! I am thrilled and amazed that this worked for me. If you are considering purchasing this, or are using it and getting discouraged, here are my comments. (1) It took a full 17 weeks before I noticed any results at all. Then one day I pulled my hair back with a headband and noticed a lot of new, short hairs at my hairline. So this takes patience! (2) About 3 weeks into treatment, I started losing much more hair than usual - lots in my brush and shower drain. I remembered hearing in one of the presentations that this is not unusual; the old weak hair falls out and is replaced with stronger hair. So I kept going and in another week or so my hair loss seemed to stop completely. Now I have less hair loss than I can ever remember. (3) The band was too big for my head, but I've decided that this is an advantage for me (though I do have to hold it in the first 3 positions). What I do is position it so that it touches and reaches further down on one side of my temple (where I have advanced thinning). Then at the 30 second beep I slide it to the other side. This way it covers more area. Per HairMax, it's okay to use more than 30 seconds, and the top of my head does get a full minute using this approach. I hope this was helpful. I can't tell you how wonderful it is to see new hair coming in, and with the 180 day return policy you can feel confident in returning it if it doesn't work for you.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Didn't work for me I followed the instructions exactly as written in the instruction booklet, and have found no changes in hair thickness. I have used it since I received it the last of September, 2016. No results for me whatsoever. So I'm sorry to say I am returning it this week. Maybe it worked for others, but not for me. Like some other reviewers, I agree that the band was too big for my head. Needs adjustments.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't waste your money I have diligently used this product for the entire period allowed. NO RESULT. I clearly fall in the group for which it was designed. The product simply does not work and QVC should remove it from its inventory.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So Worth The Expense For Me! I noticed that my hairline was changing when going through normal hormonal changes relating to aging. It truly worked for me in a relatively short time. I saw new hair within 6-8 weeks, and some of the hair at the very edges of my affected area is starting to reach the length of the rest of it. I can't vouch for this helping everybody, but I can say it worked very nicely for me. My only (slight) disgruntlement is that the band is designed too large for my head, so I have to hold it and bend it a little (it doesn't have much give) while it is around my face. I really love this device.
