E168264 - Haier 32" Diag. 720p Edge-lit LED/LCD HDTV withInternet Apps
Purchased this tv exactly one year ago and of course did not get the extended warranty. One day we turned it off and the next day turned it on, the picture was black, not to mention the sound quality was terrible and had to purchase a sound bar just so the people didn't sound like they were talking through a barrel. After reading some of the other reviews, it sounds as if these two things are a common problem with the tv and a lucky few had great luck with them.
Took me a bit of time to set up the internet connection, but the TV is great. I love it. It has a great picture and I love the different picture settings. I also love the ability to plug in my flash drive so that I can play my music and look at all my photos on a big screen.
The only negative is that I wish there were more apps!!
I have had this TV for almost a year now. It was great the first 4 months. Then it started blacking out. It did this for about 2 months then, the picture finally went out. I have the extended warranty but, since it has been under a year, I had to contact Haier. This was a joke! I had to find my own TV repair shop since noone works on Haier brand TVs in the area. Well, my tv has been in the shop for 4 months now! Haier is not very helpful with repairs from what I understand! Don't buy this TV, you will regret it!
A GREAT TV
Got this in Dec.2012, a great TV. Took it out of the box, set it up and adjust the sound and picture.Can't turn the volume half way up because it is TOO LOUD. The Picture and Internet Apps are Great.
Not a quality product
I was very disappointed when I connected my new Haier 32" TV. The sound quality was awful. All of the voices were distorted and sounded like they originated in an echo chamber. When I called Haier to report the issue, they could not resolve the problem and some of their suggested solutions were utterly absurd. Needless to say the product was returned to QVC. It is very unlikely that I will ever buy another Haier audio product and definitely would not recommend Haier to a friend.
THE WORST TV I HAVE EVER OWNED
I purchased this tv for my hubby for Christmas. First problem we noticed is the picture was getting darker and lighter all by itself. This made it impossible to watch. The Netflix app never worked properly. When we called Netflix, they told us this model HAIER was very troublesome and there were many complaints. We emailed HAIER, but they never emailed us back. My husband finally called them, and they suggested we take the tv in for repair over 40 miles away. My husband packed the tv up and sent it back. Also, the audio was horrible. We tried various audio settings, but there was only a minimal difference. I have been a customer of QVC for over two decades, and have been usually happy with everything I've ordered, but not this time.
This TV has been a nightmare. The sound was bad, but we purchased a sound bar and things were OK. Several months after our purchase we went to a black screen. Haier sounded good on the phone. We've done everything they've asked us to do: take the TV for repair - no hope; sent in forms with various stickers from the TV; called customer service on numerous occasions. They promise a TV, but it's been weeks since we had that promise. Each time we call we get a new excuse: no TV's in the warehouse; shipping is behind; no timeframe for when you'll receive your set. Here's what I know: stay away from Haier. They are all show and no go. The amount of energy we've put into this is ridiculous. I guess we will go to a local vendor, purchase a TV and then give this darn thing to someone else if we ever see it.
DON'T BELIEVE THE HYPE!!
I honestly regretted ordering this TV once I read most of the reviews however, thus far I am pleasently pleased with this TV. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the sound quality of this TV, nothing at all. This is a small set designed for a small room/space. I already had speakers so I set them up with the TV but they made the TV too loud so I never use them again The picture is exceptional. I have not used the Internet Apps on the TV because I have not had too, yet I question if these bad reviewers even read that your wifi must be connected to the TV for your internet services to work. Purchase the TV for the price it's well worth the buy.
worst tv purchase ever
After 6 months I lost the picture then the sound went. I have been trying to get Haier to repair or replace the tv for well over a month. Their customer service appears to be non existent.
For The Money - You Can't Beat It
I have 4 flat panel TV's ranging in price from $1500 down to this one and this one is as good or better than any of them. I had no complaints with the picture or sound especially considering it's price! This would be a perfect gift for anyone!
I purchased this product as a Christmas gift for myself after my old television went out. I am very pleased with this television, it was eazy to set up a pretty good deal for the price. It also work well with my laptop I can use it as a monitor too.
Trying to figure it out
I am so confused trying to figure this tv out,,The sound stinks so it's hooked up to my stereo..The wifi works but all thats on it is yahoo and netflix..where are the other apps?
