This was a great purchase. I live in a 1,000sf condo and it did the whole condo without an issue. There were only two downfalls and neither were a deal breaker in any way. The first is the vents were a little hard to get on the unit but with some manpower I got them on. The second issue is the weigh of the machine itself. I live on the 2nd story so I needed assistance caring it up the stairs due to its weight. Other that those things it's perfect.

I bought this a.c. in July in Houston . My house is on 8' polls and a split level so this went upstairs and set to the lowest temp. By bedtime the house was already at 66 so the units works great. You don't turn it off and on. I have not had any water leaks or any problems whatsoever. My ex and I had an ac and heat company for years and he too has one of these in his Tiny House. If you set it like a thermostat and let it work like it is built to you won't have any problems.

Piece of junk.
Blows cold air, but I don't know if it would cool the room or not because I had to turn it off twice so that I could clean up all the water that leaked out of it.(after less than an hour of use)
Yes, the drain plugs were tight.
Yes, it was set on AC, not dehumidifier.
Yes, everything was hooked up correctly.
It was leaking from where the power cord comes out the back.
This would be a perfect gift for someone you Don't like...
Once the anger goes away, I will be sending this back ! ! !

I have a large home with 21 foot ceilings and a loft bedroom open to the rest of the house. Our central AC broke so I bought two of these units. Initially I was not happy, it didn't seem like it was making a difference, however, we never shut the units off, and by day two, the entire house got really cool, down to 66 in the morning.
The key to getting these units to work efficiently, is to NOT turn them off, they have to work double time to catch up with the heat. Just set the temp and wait the the 24 hours for the unit to catch up, after that, leave it running, don't wait until your home is 100 degrees to try and cool it down. Use it the right way and you will be very pleased.

From hearing them speak on Qvc how much this air conditioner cools two rooms, I thought perhaps let me try it. NOT. It does not cool off two rooms. Two small rooms maybe. I have it set up in my living room and when the temp outside is over 85 I turn it on. The temp gauge will not stay at the set temperature. As it gets hotter outside the gauge will go up to try and keep up with the room temperature. Not pleased at all.

If I could give this 0 stars I would. It's been running for two hours and my room temperature has not gone below 82 degrees. Haier customer service was useless. My 8,000 BTU A/C did a much better job cooling my room.
