Haan Indoor/Outdoor MultiForce Plus Scrubbing Steam Cleaner w/ Acc.
Tried to clean living room carpet with this machine, very disappointed, it wouldn't even remove the blue play dough that my Grand Daughter had dropped in the carpet, will be sending it back
Great addition to my cleaning arsenal!
I had the first Haan upright steamer and used it 2x/week. Saw this version with the scrubbing pads , turbo steam, and vibrating capabilities. I've used it three times since receiving it and am VERY pleased! I only wish the scrub pads would fit on securely.
LOVE IT !!!!
Love this steamer!!!
I ordered two of these; one for me and one for my sister as a Christmas gift. It came this week and I just tried it on my kitchen floor (laminate). This floor is 25 years old. Every time I scrub it, I always have to put a coat of wax on it because the floor is so dull. Not now!!!! After steaming my floor today, I put the buffing pads on and started buffing. To my surprise, it actually buffed a shine so that I no longer need to wax it.
I'm so pleased with how clean my floor was when I was finished. It's so nice to know it is also germ-free! Can't wait to do the bathroom and foyer.
I just ordered another steamer for my daughter for Christmas.
I expected so much more
From the host demo I expected so much more from this scrubbing steamer. My hopes were to use this to scrub my deck like they demoed. I used it on my ceramic tile floors. It did not pick up any of the tracked on grime. I would have to let the steamer sit on it for a long time and then use my elbow grease. I have another Haan steamer from QVC without the scrubbing action and it works so much better. This one does not produce enough steam and there isn't enough scrubbing action. I finally just used it for this first time this week. Tried it again just to see if my first impression wasn't the correct one. Sadly it is. Not worth the money. Can't return it I've had it way too long. Was hidden in the garage for months.
Not a great buy
After two "Sharks" I thought I would purchase the Haan after seeing it on air (it was a Todays Special Value). I waited a bit to use it and am sorry I did.....I should have used it right away and sent it back. Tank holds not much water, which leaks continually (have to carry a rag to wipe up too wet of spots), and the screws keep coming out of the handle. Very disappointing. O...and the tank is held in place by two rubber band type hooks (?) that never catch properly, which is why the tank always leaks.
Exceeded my expectations!
I sustained a back injury several years ago that makes mopping floors one of the most difficult chores for me to do. I've used steam cleaners purchased in stores before. The first one required a pumping motion of the handle to activate the steam, which was absolutely excruciating on my back. The other had a switch you needed to depress with your finger to activate the steam. It didn't aggravate my back but it only used premoistened, disposable brand name cleaning pads for the steamer that were VERY expensive. The so-so results of the pads didn't justify the cost and when the steamer button broke during normal use, the steamer was no good to me at all. THIS Haan steamer really is fantastic. It's much lighter than I expected and I can clean all my hardwood and vinyl floors in under an hour. It's easy on my back and I love being able to throw the pads in the washer and use them over and over again. Steady steam cleans the floors evenly and the scrubbing action of the heads makes spills and stubborn dirt a snap to clean. I'd absolutely recommend this cleaner!!!
Love this steam mop!!!
I love this. We have 2 dogs and they go to the barn everyday and bring home a ton of dirt. We also have very porous tiles that never seem to get clean. The scrubbing with this mop is amazing. The only downside of this is the cord is too short but other than that I am so happy I bought it.
BEST cleaning appliance you will ever buy!
I had an original Haan and loved it but decided to upgrade to this. The housekeeper and I both give it an A+ and don't know how we lived without it. It does all the scrubbing and muscle power for you. I ran errands this morning while the housekeeper did all of the floors in my house and when I came home - even without a candle burning - I spelled "clean" when I walked in. Having a home full of pets, that's just remarkable. She said (and I noticed) that the hardwood floors looked buffed this morning and looked more brilliant with the new cleaner. I've studied the designs of all the steam cleaners and, in my opinion, Haan is the best. This one tilts and pivots which the housekeeper went wild about. She said the only draw back was that the cord was shorter. I looked them both up online and she was correct: the older one had a 25' cord and this one has an 18' cord, so I would tell Haan to definitely bring back the 25' cord. Please don't discontinue this type of Haan cleaner! You also listened and shipped it with more pads! It comes with eight and I will use two pads per room in my house and I like extra in case I don't get to the laundry right away, but need to clean the floor and have clean pads. The only color is red but it's a beautiful color. AND you can turn off the buffing part and just have steam cleaning if you want.
NOT FOR CERAMIC FLOORS
Just lightly skims over the floor, and doesn't even touch the grout. Should have had my "common sense" brain in motion and thought it through. The tiles are a bit higher than the grout, consequently, it just skims over the grout, spurting steam, so I had to mop up after my attempt at grout cleaning. Although heavy, the scrubber part is light, so it also didn't have enough force to clean my beautiful, expensive, prized terrazzo floors either. since it was not as described, I will request I be reimbursed for shipping once again. My new year resolution was to return all that didn't "do" as stated, and so far am hundreds of dollars ahead. Hooray.
Repeating - with edits what some have already written - I purchased primarily because of the brushes thinking it would clean the grout on my porcelain tile in my kitchen. It doesn't appear that it cleans any better than my Spin Mop. With the scrubbing motion and the "turbo" steam setting, going slow, AND repeatedly going over 2 grimy areas - I just really felt like the floor wasn't getting clean. I decided to spot check with a wet paper towel and lo and behold - it came up dirty. The reach is not particularyly good, the cord on my Dyson vac is at least 2 feet longer than the Haan. However, it is light-weight and very easy to maneuver, I'm not impressed with the cleaning for the money. I’m returning it.
Worth the wait!
The Haan steamer completely lives up to the promises made on the show. Easy to use!
Not what I expected
I was so excited to get this steamer --does not live up to what I expected. It was confusing to use, left the floor wet and the electric cord is so short I couldn't even do one room without unplugging and replugging! This was sooooo frustrating! I have it packed up, ready to return tomorrow.
