Good purchase
I have had this particular model for a while now and have had no problems with it. When it arrived I plugged it in and it booted up straight away, recognized my WiFi and I was online surfing, emailing and playing games. I never go anywhere with it so it is plugged in all the time, but every once in a while I unplug to let the battery drain then recharge it, they suggest you do that I guess. Except for my big fat fingers and a few typos due to it, I have had no complaints, I like the screen size and the ability to use the touch pad to increase the page size for better reading, any printing I do I share use of the printer connected to the desktop via WiFi router. Again great purchase and without QVC easy pay plan I was able to purchase it over time.

Extremely unhappy with HP support
I brought this laptop in hopes that I would have a HS graduation present for my oldest nephew and have something he could use in college. When I received the computer, I opened it up and started to set it up for him and register it online. All seemed to be working the first day. On the second day I decided I needed to register it online so I connected it to my network. Well, that was as far as I was able to go after online registration as on the following time I tried to connect to the internet to check a utility bill, this computer no longer recognized a connection while my other two laptops (Mac & PC) connected just fine. When I called the HP support (in India) and was told I must purchase their tech support and pay about $209.60 if I wanted them to help since someone took over my computer unknowingly. All two of my internet connections in less than 5 days of being in possession had only been for registering with HP and the other Electric bill. I was left with no other choice but to return it to QVC since HP refused to honor any warrantee or make any attempt to trouble shoot, never asking even once for computer serial number or anything to identify it...
