I bought an older version of this computer, over 4 yrs ago. At that time it was presented as a great pkg. HP AMD, quad core, pavilion, laptop. I used it a few times in the past and presently (since my desktop is in "a name brand store" for upgrades#. I don't have any additional programs loaded, except the programs that came with this laptop. It runs very slow, much trouble loading many of the pages/apps that came with this computer. It is too late for me to return it and the trade in value for this computer is very low #I haven't used it a lot and it is externally, in excellant condition#.

Was great at first but started locking up. Called tech support and they said they only help with of to of connection. They couldn't fix it and this was a life long support so it said. After it locked up and wouldn't go into recovery mode my husband took a hammer and beat it apart. I didn't blame him..

We bought this laptop, having read other reviews claiming it was a good purchase. We've had noting but issues with it can't even check emails and social media with out the computer sending notifications that it needs to be updated. Can not download iTunes on to it says not compatible. Wish I would have sent it back complete waste of money. I do not recommend this laptop to anybody!

This is the craziest laptop that I have ever used. I bought the HP based on reviews and the fact that my last HP was wonderful and lasted many years.
The setup and storage is wonderful, however the touch screen has been "ghosting" since I took it out of the box. By the time I had picked it up from the mail room, (tracking was delayed and did not show delivery), I only had two weeks to get it back to return it, but hadn't realized that this was a lemon until after using it for a week and noticing that this was not an issue that would go away. It is now a constant on the screen, making the laptop virtually unusable. I bought this to start my own small business and have been using my phone or the iPad instead since the screen will not stop clicking things itself and closing windows, etc. I wish I could exchange this!
Ive reset the controls, the screen, the mousepad, turned the touch sensor off, rebooted the software, etc and nothing will make it stop. Ahhh so frustrated!

When I saw this, I figured it would be a great buy. Nope, terrible, terrible, terrible this laptop is super slow and I have to repeatedly shut it down and restart it for it to pick up internet wifi.

Had been told that an HP product was a good product..this is not my experience. Been fighting with the computer from day one..made the big mistake of thinking it was me not the computer at first so did not return it within the time allowed by QVC. Have sent it in to HP once so far an have not received an satisfactory explanation of what the problem is. They keep trying to blame our internet when all our other electronics from Toshiba, Kindle and LG works great on the same internet. One of the most expensive mistakes I have made

Nothing but problems with this purchase .Item was not even a year old. Problems within 2 months of purchase. Will never order anything from Hewlett Packard.
