Great Concept but...
I love the idea of having an external battery when you can't charge you phone. We have gotten some really good use with it like when my daughter went on a five hour bus trip to NY, I knew with the snap chat, twitter and instagram, she would loose a charge on her phone even before she reached New York, so it is good. Unfortunately, yesterday the thingie that plugs into the phone broke, I am so very disappointed but I will return and try another one.

Fantastic
First of all, soooo cute (I purchased it in pink leopard). Always a lifesaver in pinch. I make sure to fully charge it every month or so just in case so it is always at full charge. I have helped so many others in a pinch besides myself and have purchased several as gifts

Halo....godly i think not
I purchased this item in black. I was told it held charge up to 10months....and all you had to do was charge the unit on your pc for 6-8 hours. I left the halo on the computer ALL DAY charging from 630 a.m until 1030 P.m because it wouldnt charge fully. STILL went dead after few minutes of using it. worst ever

great BUT
I bought 6 of these in January and gave out to friends for gifts. I have a Droid. It works great when I am really low BUT the light turns red after a couple of hours of charging...very disappointing - it is still a great item to have in an emergency when your cell phone is down as it charges it right up but the durability of the battery is quite questionable...I recall buying it because it was advertised on TV that it would last 9 hours before having to have to charge-not true. I would say since January, 2013, I have used it possibly 8 times or less - the battery should be lasting longer.

Comes in Handy, Prints Wear Off
I bought these for my phone and my teenagers phones. So far they have worked for months with no issues with recharging. My only complaint would be not to order any of the Halos that are patterns because they wear off. No problems with the solid colors only with the leopard prints (all of the spots have worn off), ordered leopard print for a reason!!!!

It is nice... but
This is nice for around town, however if you are traveling it may burn out on you - which is what happened to me. Until they have USB port recharge stations you would suffice w/ an electrical one. I felt like a weirdo creeping around people with a laptop but still did not want to ask to charge my device on their computer. Almost caved at the Airport and bought an electrical charger as they have outlets but passed....

Sure comes in handy!
My husband was going to another property to mow for a friend and realized his cell phone was nearly out of charge. I sent the HALO with him. It worked great to recharge his phone and I felt better knowing he had a cell phone in case anything went wrong. It is well worth the money for peace of mind.

Great Charger
Since I got a smartphone about 2 months ago I use this almost on a daily basis with my Samsung Galaxy 2 phone and it works great. To recharge it you must leave it plugged in until the light is solid green. If it's flashing green the unit is not fully charged - an it does take several hours to fully charge. I usually plug it into my computer overnite but have also used another adapter to plug it into an electrical outlet. I keep one at home and one in my purse and switch off so I use them both on a regular basis.

Love it!
Got it for myself and I love it. The only con I have with it is that it has to be charged on a computer that is on for four to six hours. Outside of that it has been great. I keep it in my purse for when I need it. Bought a second one for my daughter and she likes it as well. My dog did chew up the charger cord. Went to Halo website and ordered a new one but was sent wrong item. Customer service quickly resolved the situation with me being happy. Would recommend th!is product.

Loved it, but then.....
Loved this for the first 3-4 times I used it. Great for travel, kept my iphone going. However, the 5th time I went to use it, nothing. No lights on the display, won't recharge. I see the warranty is 90 days, I'm going to try to work that process. I bought 3 more as gifts - hope I don't end up looking cheap if the recipient's halos also stop working.
