Rated 5 out of 5 by from So Fresh This was the freshest smoked salmon I’ve ever had. Not salty, not a smokey taste, not oily. Just absolutely delicious! Made Easter morning even better!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Where's the Flavor? I just opened and served the first package of salmon. It had absolutely no taste. My guest said the same thing. What a shame. For this price I expected better. So glad QVC has an excellent refund policy.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Big Price! No Taste! I would not order again. Didn't really have any taste. Nova Lox has a much better taste and the quality is much better without the crazy price.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Uneven I am still not sure about freezing smoked salmon: I believe it gives it a slightly mushy texture. But my main concern with this salmon product is that the quality is uneven: some of individual portions in the pack had a lot of white striations - the salmon meat in these was very fatty and did not resemble what was advertised on television. One or two of the portions, however, were 'lean', looked like the product sold on TV and were very flavorful - without the fatty taste. Given the price, I suggest the company focus on consistency. Do not include the fattier portions of salmon that are probably cheaper but not up to the premium quality touted on TV. I would re-roder if I could be certain of what I was getting...

Rated 1 out of 5 by from One Star for the Price I don’t believe there’s anyway anyone could dispute the quality and taste of this product and without question it deserves 5 stars. But, to charge $69.86 for 1.1 pounds of Scottish smoked salmon is just utterly ridiculous, and QVC who prides themselves on “Quality, Value and Convenience” should rethink their motto before promoting this product. I have purchased the same quality scottish smoked salmon and Irish smoked salmon at my local deli for less than half the price and therefore have to ask why? Why wouldn’t QVC offer this item at a better price since it has the ability to purchase and sell the salmon to a much broader audience than regular retail outlets... I would never buy this item again. Sixty nine dollars and change for 1.1 pounds of anything is not what I would label “value” by any means in todays market.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect!!! I used two of the portions and they were delicious. They taste just like the smoked salmon you get in the Jewish delicatessen in New York City. Sooo good. I just placed another order for the Holidays.
