My daughter gave these to me for Christmas. These are THE BEST!! If you need a pair of black trousers, and who doesn't, don't hesitate to give these a try. The fabric is a nice substantial weight. There is no piling like with some other ponte knits. They travel well, and can go just about anywhere from work to a dressy after five party. I love all the Halston ponte pants. I recommend sizing down with these as they are roomy in the waist and hips. Also, they are VERY long so unless you're planning to wear them with heels, I'd get the petites. I plan to order another pair, and that one will be in the petite length.

Purchased these with high expectations. After taking to the dry cleaners (only worn once) they had shrunken so badly, they were too long for capris and too short for regular pants. Very disappointing and a waste of money.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Ree Run Perfect - Just what I was looking for
These pants are just what I was looking for- something comfy yet professional for work. I can easily drive for a couple of hours and walk into my client meeting looking great, not worried about wrinkles. I'm 5'6" - the length was a bit long (had to wear with heels), but seemed to have slightly shrunk in length with first wash - so is actually now perfect to wear with heels or flats. Will likely order another pair in same or different color.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Md395 Very flattering pant
I was worried this would be a thin knit and not professional enough for on the job. The pant lays very nicely and is very figure flattering. Going back for another color. I am in between a 10 and 12 so I sized down based on some of the reviews. The pants are long, so if you don't plan on wearing heels, I would order petite.
Rated 4 out of 5 by JRAE Summer- Winter weight? Lovely workmanship.
I bought these in granite and sand along with the black and adobe linen/cotton. My these are heavy for going in to spring-summer. They weigh just under 1.4 pounds and seem more like a cold fall/winter items. They are substantial and a perfect fit even though they might be a little short in the front rise for me at size 8. I got the sand zip sweater in the smallest size and think since I've planned a trip with the sand at end of month I may as well give them a try. Lovely color and crafted beautifully.

I love these pants. They can be dressed up or down. The fabric is the best and travels well. I hope they offer them in other colors like brown and navy.
Rated 3 out of 5 by Kallley waist is too large
material is great but the waist is far to large. expected better contouring in the waist band for this price point and designer.
Rated 5 out of 5 by LeW Outstanding quality knit pants.
Well constructed, substantial, firm knit. The term "knit" as of late, is often synonymous with "cheap and lousy". Not this time. This is a decent garment.
Better to pay a little more for quality materials and better construction than to be disappointed by the hand and wear of low-priced junk.
If you must sit for long periods you know how non-stretch waist-bands can dig and pinch after a while. The (knit) self-waist band of these slacks is a more comfortable alternative.
Presentable enough for work, easy enough to leisure.
