H by Halston Ponte Knit Jacket with Leather Lapel and Cuffs is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 14.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from very stylish, interesting This is a very stylish and great jacket. The cuffs & collar are amazing with leather trimming. I ordered my regular size. Initially I tried this on & didn't like it. It is very different because the shoulder seems are several inches off the shoulder (I usually do NOT like) which can make a person's shoulders look broader. I had to work with the style, but when I put the correct pieces together with it, WOW, wonderful. You must get the correct size though and make it form fitting. I put a red tank with some trimming on the bottom underneath (with the black jacket) and it looks great. Add some tapered leggings or pants. would wear heels or boots with it. Then a V necklace. I am recommending this.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Beware if you have large arms or broad shoulders! It is a lovely jacket. I like the combination of the knit and leather. The lining is luxurious to the touch. However, it has a very strange fit through the upper arms and shoulders. I am plus size, yes. Tall, yes. I have always had broad shoulders and that has led to occasional issues with fit. This jacket's problems go beyond that. With regard to the arms, it feels as if the lining is too small for the coat itself. It doesn't look tight in the mirror, yet your arms feel like they are bound and you can barely move. I had to get my husband to help me out of the jacket, especially the sleeves. The body of the garment wasn't tight at all...in fact, it was a bit large for "semi-fitted". The pockets also are set very strangely. They are up high on the abdomen and they gap open. Not a good look. They needed to do a discreet closure for those. Their gaping ruined an otherwise sleek silhouette. I was so disappointed because I really wanted to wear this lovely jacket. I love the H by Halston line, but I have a difficult time grasping their sizing. It is quite inconsistent overall and I can never rely on my standard size. Some garments are too small so you must size up and many others are too large requiring you to size down. When returns cost so much, it sometimes makes me think twice about ordering from this line even though I adore the fashions. I hope it is something they can improve on.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice Color, however... I was hoping to add another jacket to my H by Halston collection; however, this was an odd fit on me. I usually wear a XL in this designer; however the fabric in the shoulder area did not fit right and seemed too snug. The jacket also appeared longer in the presentation. The Sand color is pretty; however, this item just was not a good fit for me. Perhaps I will start to think twice before buying fashion items, to cut down on the return cost.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Had to Return I was looking forward to receiving this jacket ~ liked the fit, the material, the weight, and the design once I received it. However, I had a very difficult time with the zipper ~ it wouldn't work smoothly if at all. It was very difficult to even get it started. So . . . I returned it thinking it was a flaw with that particular jacket. Ordered a second one ~ it had the same issue with the zipper ~ I don't have any trouble with zippers, etc.; however, the design of the zipper on this jacket made it impossible for me to keep as I didn't feel like struggling a minimum of ten minutes every time I wanted it zippered. Reluctantly, back it went. I'm not trying for a third one;(. Anybody else have an issue with the zipper?

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Expected to love it, but . . . I really expected to like this jacket, and I expected to feel well-dressed wearing it, but 1) for a blend of rayon and nylon, it's surprisingly thick and heavy and would probably be uncomfortable in the warmer climate I expect to move to, and 2) the collar doesn't look right. The size 6 is an excellent fit for my 39" (36B) chest and zips over my ever-increasing midriff roll with room for movement, but there's something about the placement of that collar that isn't flattering, at least not on me. I think it's too elongated. That is, to be in proportion with the rest of the jacket, one of two things must happen. The collar needs to be either the same width but shorter or the same length but wider. It's too narrow for its length. It might look better on someone with a larger bust, because a larger bust would push the fabric out and away from the body, which might cause the collar to appear less elongated. It's also a strong tan color with a grayish undertone when a lighter, truer sand would be nicer.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Runs loose I ordered the beige color and trusted the 5 star reviews. But, boy was I disappointed! First of all the jacket is too big on me. I am a medium, 5 ft. 5 and 150 lbs. I usually am a perfect medium. But, this jacket had weird shoulders. They are unusual for a jacket. See the picture. No seaming at the top, just rounded. The fabric is very thick and so any part that is not tailored properly, will just look awful. It says point knit, but does not look or feel like any ponte that I have. Too thick for this style. I have written this so many times: if you are a small size, or perhaps sized down, this jacket might work for you. I'm a little disgusted because another mail back expense coming up. You really need to try the garment on first before you buy to get it right. I must start cutting down on my QVC clothes purchases! I am getting it right only 50% of the time! I would hate to see the total of my yearly mail back costs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gorgeous I LOVE THIS LINE. I wasn't sure I would like this jacket, but I love it! It fits well, beautiful fabric and leather, beautifully lined, and is a home run!! Just to look at it you would expect it to cost around $300.
