Love these boots. They are a great height even not folded down. I ordered mine a half size larger than I usually wear and they fit nice. When you first put them on, they are a little snug in width, but a couple times wearing them and they feel great. Love the color and love the tread on the bottom, especially with ice and snow.

Sizing is so off on these boots there are no words to explain it. I have two pairs of Halston pumps size 8, perfect fit. I sized up to an 8 1/2 and I still couldn't get my feet in these boots. Who determines the width on them? These were a definite no! They are on their way back.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Palmia Nice boots for the price, but too narrow for me
I really liked these quality boots, especially with the cuff straight up to a more mid-calf height. The leather was very soft, and they looked way more expensive than the dirt cheap clearance price I got them at.
They did run too narrow for me. I'm 8 1/2 medium, hovering more towards the wide side than narrow. I ordered 9 M and was very sad they didn't fit, and had to return them. If you have a narrower foot and like a classic unadorned black boot with beautiful soft leather, they may be worth taking a chance on. .

I guess I have to disagree with many of the reviews (which is why I ordered in the first place). I found the leather stiff and the boots uncomfortable. They do run long. I would have had to return for a smaller size if I was going to keep. Purchased the A269839 (2 pairs, tan and the grey) and the quality of the leather is so much better that I was surprised when I received this boot. Back they go!
Rated 4 out of 5 by LaPallo Beautiful but a little snug
I love these boots. I bought them in gray and was so excited to receive them. They are as beautiful as I had imagined. I frequently wear them with skinny leg jeans, and they take the outfit to the next level of chic without much effort. I have only one negative comment on these boots. They are a bit snug through the toe box area. It may not have been as much of an issue before I had a child and my feet have permanently widened a bit in that area. This boot doesn't have a zipper, which I think I was a little surprised about. The lack of a zipper makes them a little tricky to pull on because the ankle doesn't have extra room for slipping on. I have to work to get them on every time, and I've worn them more than a dozen times already so I don't think it's going to improve much. They're pretty comfortable, though I think there could have been a little more cushion under the ball of the foot. But overall, this is a gorgeous boot that is comfortable enough to wear all day (as long as you're not standing all day).

I was a little hesitant due to the reviews but I could not find this style of boot anywhere and this is the style I wanted. I am so glad they worked for me. They fit great and look great. Love them! They don't have a zipper so that is why many may have had a difficult time putting them on but I did not have an issue. I wear between 8 1/2 and 9 so I got a 9Med and they are wonderful!!! So glad I took the chance and ordered them.

Must say I looked at this boot and wondered what the three stars ppl received at home. Fantastic boot great leather/looks like $3-400 beautifully simple no bells and whistles just zillion dollars worth of style. I wear 7 vionic/ 7.5 normally and always order boots in an 8, I wear medium width. Love these boots/ got in black. No white strings anywhere. Gotta fat foot not for you, but medium or narrow should work. Put my half vionic ortho in it ...perfect...did I say I love these boots! Style pure and simple. Thanks Cameron
Back for the brown! Probably a tights only boot/ no thick socks unless you size up/ your guess
