Rated 3 out of 5 by Runs Small Cute jacket just runs really small. Didn't want the hassle of trying to figure out what size to re-order. 10-21-16
Rated 5 out of 5 by Loved it! I loved this jacket but I had a problem :( I waited for this jacket in the fawn color on waitlist & when I received it I was excited! The fit was perfect & I loved the fabric & it's seems like it would be very cozy to wear! But here's the problem, the shearling on & around the collar looked as if someone tried to trim it (an uneven trim!) Maybe I received someone else's return, but I'm not exchanging it because if I got another one like this I would be out another return fee. I have many items from Halston & love everything I have purchased! So I won't hesitate to purchase more Halston! 10-20-16
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice but sizing off The jacket is a nice casual /weekend jacket. I ordered up a size as per Shawns sizing advice. The fit is good even a bit loose in shoulders but I am going to exchange for 1 more Size up so I can wear a long sleeve shirt and or sweater under. I don't like my clothing tight so that is why I choose to order an extra size up. I live in NYC and can go to any store I want and I choose to order from QVC. Not all of my clothes are from here but I do order quite a bit and I always find that if you don't like an item you can send it back. No questions asked. The hosts and customer service all seem very nice and try to help with sizing best they can. Not everyone can be happy with a certain item. So if you like it go for it and see how it fits you and see how you like it. I love it and I don't care what other people think. A funny thing is I purchased something from a thrift store and received a ton of compliments. I never go out to get compliments and I certainly don't care if people like my taste in clothing or my style. Style is your own and I do get compliments often but I don't choose to keep or send back an item just because I got compliments Enjoy your STYLe and PLAY. 10-19-16
Rated 4 out of 5 by Beautiful, 5-Star but for Smaller-fit First my experience with the fit - I am a retail 4 with 34 bust. I heard Shawn's comment and ordered 1 size up. She is accurate IF you wear a long sleeve top 'no heavier' than a Quacker Factory tee. Think it is best with a sleeveless mock/turtleneck shell. The smaller fit is due to the fact that the faux shearling is not only throughout the body of the jacket but also the sleeves. I personally would not wear either a short or 3/4 sleeved garment of any weight, they will get caught in the shearling and render it uncomfortable. For that reason I was on the fence of exchanging it for an 8 (vice 6) - that would have been 2 sizes up. Online consumers should be aware by now that at times the different colors of a garment are larger/smaller for various reasons - fabric/dyes/etc. And they seem to be too young to recall when ALL jackets/coats were so MUCH smaller than other clothing, you would have to purchase at least 3 sizes larger. So am delighted that outerwear is now generally sized commensurately. I am very happy with my purchase of this Halston jacket (chocolate). Cute and well-made with no issues of fabric/seams/shearling. And by the way, am 65 years in age. Don't we all now wear jeans & boots? This is perfect for that look. 10-16-16
Rated 1 out of 5 by Sending This Back to QVC! I am so disappointed in the quality of this jacket. After all the hype from the QVC host and the Halston Rep, I expected a really exceptional jacket. Well, unfortunately, the faux shearling material is very thin and looks cheap. The jacket is not finished inside, and the sizes are off. I usually wear a 6 but would need at least a size 8 in this jacket. I have noticed that the quality of some of the QVC items has degraded over the last couple of years. Another issue is why customers must pay to return items. We already paid for shipping when we purchased them. I think that QVC should pay for return shipping. 10-13-16
Rated 1 out of 5 by Great Jacket but not for Me Seen Halston on Tv Special- ( H by Halston Faux Shearling Motorcycle Jacket ) $80 I jumped at the price and the Name Halston, but I couldn't see close enough how the suede looks on Tv -wish they zoomed in closer and if the Host had touche fabric in strokes with zoom view, then I could of seen the fabric material better. I am 5"5 and usually wear flats or going out heels and heel boots, so the fit was to my waist and I am athletic slim build, I think the jacket would look good on any body type even plus, as its more of a Chick look and inside piece wear or going out wear, not for cold/winter type, I d say warm summer breeze or chilly not dead winter weather. The Jacket I ordered the black and I did like the brown to would've ordered that to-but- The Arm length was to my hands by braclet section and I could fold it over 1-turn,but i like it not turned, so if you have really short arms(I dont)- it, could work for you, so dont think the arm length won't work for short arm gal The pockets good size and wearing it wasn't tight , I bought the size 6 , so if I wear warm light sweater, wouldn't be to tight, but even -size 4 could work, if I wanted exaggerated look could of had size 8 or 10, but for this one size 4-6 would fit someone similar to my size 5'5 weight 100-130, as the Jacket (back has stretch material The length goes to your hips, if your are petite I believe it will look cute and if your tall still could work, a sits meant to be short, so its not meant to cover weight or be long to your knee, its meant to show you off,- so if your slim to athletic or curvy -has that bold edge look. The issue is the Collar- I felt it didn't mesh with the Jacket, Now the Jacket itself-even though its not real suede, its more velvety feel and plush pillow material, not a good suede knock off, but it does present a Great Chic look - The designer touch at the label- with the attached hanging piece (you could use to hang your jacket with, but it so pretty I wouldn't want to ruin it, I would use a hanger or the collar to hang it up) But that Label piece attached, does presents a boutique look. Issue is the Collar - has a nice big Collar that looks motorcycle looking, but the Collar feels rough and one reviewer said felt and looks like a bathroom Rug, I kinda agree, its the rug you step on out of the bathtub/shower, and or looks like a rustic rug or cheap knit rug for 2.99.(very cotton ball looking, Think the large size baby sock balled up and spread on the collar all over, as cotton ball looking and looks and feels like a cheap rug and not the soft rugs. I can't understand why a "Halston would incorporate a Collar that looks that Ugly and the feel of it. Terrible fashion execution for a collar, and even though its inexpensive jacket, dont let the tell sign of the collar really shout its not our higher end pieces. I have bought halston things like the sweaters and boots and I am not pleased with this Jacket collar. Some one should redesign this and then it will sell, put a Faux fur or make collar sweater material. I Returned this and bought a Linea Jacket and spent more money $200. when Halston was $80. That Goes to show you people will spend for nice quality , but if you dont make something nice inexpensive or higher price- a customer will not buy it 10-12-16
Rated 3 out of 5 by Sleeves are too short This jacket is for short women. I am 5'8" and the body and sleeves are just too short. It's not an expensive looking piece, but it is cute. Will not keep me warm in the NE past October. It's great for anyone that's not use to good quality items and want something stylish. I would recommend this garment to young adults under 25 I'm in my thirties. 10-10-16
Rated 5 out of 5 by Stylish Quality!!! I purchased the Fawn & Chocolate Brown ... & both are fabulous! The fit is different from any other jacket I have, hugging the body. Both jackets look great & very different from each other (probably in part because of the black/ brown colors in the chocolate). After reading the bad reviews, I thoroughly examined all seams & found them to be perfect. See no sheading of the shearling. It seems you either love it or don't ... & I love it (them)!!! 10-09-16
