Guiltless Gourmet (18) 4 oz. Choice of Veggie Burgers
Best Veggie Burgers - and I am a vegetarian
My mother ordered these for me. They are full of vegetables and are absolutely delicious! I have tried many many kinds of veggie burgers and these are my favorite. I heat my oven to 400 degrees and cook the frozen burgers for 8 minutes on each side. Sometimes I eat them with a bun and other times I just eat them plain. Yum!
Not a QVC quality product
The Veggie Burgers arrived promptly and looked good as packaged. I read the preparation instruc tions and decided to use the QVC microwave broiler pan. I was concerned over the high sodium content (no potassium added) but decided to try one.The cooking process went well and they looked good - but although it was crispy on the outside, it was mushy inside. The tomatoe I added had more flavor. This is the first QVC food product that I have NOT enjoyed and could not recommend. It was a gamble and fortunately there were only 18. I have used many frozen meat, chicken, turkey and fish products that I have enjoyed and will stick with them.
ALOT OF VEGETABLES BUT LACK IN TASTE
THESE ARE BETTER THAN ANY STORE BRAND. THERE IS A NEED FOR SOME SORT OF SEASONING TO GIVE THEM SOME FLAVOR. I WILL TRY SALSA , PASTA SAUCE, MAYO OR SALT OVER IT THE NEXT TIME I EAT ONE AS I DO NOT EAT BREAD.
DID NOT LIKE THAT THEY ALL CAME IN ONE BAG. HAD TO WRAP BY MYSELF. WOULD LAST LONGER AND KEEP BETTER IF THEY WERE VACUME SEALED IN SMALL PORTIONS.
ALSO INSTRUCTIONS ON BOX LID WAS WET AND COULD NOT SAVE IT TO KEEP AS A REMINDER HOW TO COOK. I HAD TO WRITE IT DOWN.
Not buying this again
I bought the combo pack. The taste was so so. Not that bad but not that good.If I put enough seasoning kethupor something else. I could eat it. but the texture is mushy and grainy. I'm trying to think of some way to use them rather than waste them all together. I not only would recommend them to a friend but would not wish them on my worst enemy. Thhis is the first negative review I have ever written but I felt it needed to be said. wish I had read the reviews before I ordered.
Not to great
These are pretty dry. I tried cooking several ways and they still require something like
a slice of tomato or some mayo to add some moisture. I will not re-order these.
Best Veggie Burgers Ever
Just received these today and had the original burger. They were sooo good!!! I've tried a few different brands in the supermarkets but these were by far, the best. Glad I bought the larger size!
Love These Burgers
I found the way to cook these without defrosting them first is to fry them in a frying pan using non-stick spray and to cover them in the pan with a lid for about 5 minutes on each side over medium heat. The outside will be crunchy and tender inside. The reason I didn't give them five stars is the sodium content is somewhat high. If that could be lowered I would give them 5 stars. I have tried all three and prefer the Original as it is the one that is lowest in calories.
Deee lish!! Full of hearty sized veggies! Wish I had ordered the larger size!
These burgers are just awful. Have a mushy center and the taste is not good. Would not recommend them at all.
These looked so good on the t.v. but they have NO taste!!!Tried several times and two different kinds but all were the same . The rest went in the dog dish! Would not recommend these.
Ok, so I totally understand where all the "mushy" comments are coming from. After some experimentation, I discovered that THE best way to prepare these is in the broiler. I quick defrost one patty for 30 seconds in the microwave, then broil it until slightly browned and crispy. (Have to watch closely or else it will burn).
My Mom bought the California style and didn't care for them much, so that's how I ended up with them. I love them and will place another order for them. I like that you can see (identify) and taste the veggies in them (unlike the Morningstar / grocery store version of "veggie" burgers that are waxy and tasteless).
Only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because of the "mushy" factor and the fact that they don't stay together very well. But other than that, they are very good!
MUSHY & FALL APART
These are pretty awful...I'd rather have the ones from the grocery store. I'm too frugal to throw away, so I'm eating them with relish, ketchup, onion, etc., to cover up the nontaste. They also are so crumbly, they fall apart trying to get them from the pan to the bun. Won't get this brand again.
