won't build up steam Like so many others, mine will not build up any steam at all. Makes me wonder if this has anything to do with the large price reduction. I guess for some people they were lucky enough to get one that works like it is supposed to. The gasket doesn't seem to be thick enough to make a seal. I have 2 pressure cookers so I know how the lid should fit. 04-09-13

Buy It! Works great. I have made galic mashed potatos and home made chicken soup. Great results from both. Great price! Before I bought this I did a little research. I originally was going to buy the Anna Boiardi's low pressure cooker. After researching I found out that Gordon's, Bioardis, and Cook Essentials are all made by Flavor-Pro. So unless you want a specific design or color buy Gordon's. You wil save money and you'll be happy with the results. 03-31-13

no pressure pressure cooker I would recommend this to all my friends. Used only 1 time and made the best beef stew ever in 15 min. of cooking. 01-17-13

Wonderful stovetop cooker I haven't found there to be any problem with my low pressure cooker, I enjoy using it. As with any pressure cooker, the seal needs to be seated in the lid correctly. That being said, mine seals perfectly as soon as I turn the heat on and it begins to build pressure...........if I need to stir or add additioinal ingredients, the pressure releases easily and then builds pressure again as soon as I lock the lid. I know that I will continue to use this and enjoy the results.........the food comes out wonderfully flavorful and tender. 01-08-13

Disappointed Used my cooker 3 times following instructions....even hand washed and dried. Handle steam release lever broke in pieces after 3rd use. Past 30 day return time. 01-03-13

Nice Pot but doesn't save time This is a nice pot and I use it frequently but I realized right away that it wasn't a true pressure cooker. It takes pretty much the same amount of time to cook in this pot as it does in my regular lidded pot, it may shave a little time but not a noticeable amount. I do like the lid and the way it seals so its not a total loss,but it's not a real pressure cooker. I don't believe Gordon if he says this was used in a speedy cooking contest! LOL 12-31-12

Love Love Love This makes my cooking so easy. I can come home from work and still be able to put a good hot meal on the table in no time. Clean up is so easy. I Love Love Love my pressure cooker 11-17-12

Not what I need I expected it to be faster than regular cook pots. It wasn't Food tasted good but took as long as regular cookware. I'm sending it back and going to purchase a regular pressure cooker. I love cooks essentials and plan to buy one of their pressure cookers. 11-12-12

BEST PURCHASE!!!! LOVE THIS!!!! You will not be sorry! We use this almost everyday! With life being so busy, I wasn't able to cook certain things such as stew, pork roasts, etc. without a lot of time (which I rarely have). Now, I am able to cook these things last minute. I made beef stew in just a couple hours- prep time included! Pork tenderloin roasts come out unbelievably tender! Everything comes out so tender and delicious! This Pot has changed our lives! We LOVE it!!! 11-11-12

Smartin up You need to get seal wet by running water on it, In other words get seal wet before sealing it! 11-02-12
