Fabulous. Truly Stunning- but not for a tall woman
I am giving these 5 stars even though I had to return them to QVC. It broke my heart, but at 5'10" I had to admit I could not even wear these gorgeous pants with flats. PLEASE, PLEASE make these available in Tall sizes. I would buy 5 pair at once if they became available in Tall. As other reviewers have noted, the cut, style, fabric and quality of these pants makes them absolutely classic. So stocking up on several pair would make sense. I was quite skeptical initially that velvet pants with an elastic waistband could look anything but cheesy. But I took a gamble on George Simonton because he is so expert at fitting/designing/tailoring pants for the female figure. He didn't disappoint! I envy all of you who are shorter (that would be most of you) because you can buy these beautiful pants and look gorgeous for years to come. QVC: Are you listening?? PLEASE MAKE THESE AVAILABLE IN TALLS!!!

Quality
I like to wear velvet pants as a casual, at-home pant in cooler months, and I needed to replace a favorite pair. After trying and returning several pairs from other vendors, I found this excellent pair. The fabric is of high quality with the velvet nap running the correct way (up the leg), and the cut is nicely designed for a great fit. The waist is comfortable but not bulky. The legs are not too wide; nor are they too narrow. This is a classic cut that will remain stylish for years. The length is nice for me (a petite) so that I can wear heels with the pant, and they are easy care. This is exactly what I wish for in a classic garment that I plan to mix and match with a variety of other pieces in my wardrobe, and I have no doubt that the pants will see plenty of wear.

On my 3rd pair, love 'em, don't ever stop making!!
Just adore the fit, comfort, and durability of these pants. They wash beautifully. MIght be nice in some other classic darks - deep navy, brown, gray, green. Incredibly comfortable and also elegant. Not shiny, which I like. Dress up or down. Hope you will make a warm weather version, in another great stretch fabric that is not too thin. Something other than crystal knit. These pants are slimming and figure flattering. The look is timeless. Recommend without hesitation.

Beautiful!
These are just beautiful slacks! The hand, the drape, the fit -- well worth the price. PLEASE bring this back with some other colors such as chocolate brown, winter white, green and red for holidays! Really lovely!

Elegant and Perfect !
This is my first ever QVC review although I've been buying from QVC "in bulk" so to speak for many years. Given that, the fact that I want to call out a specific purchase is an indicator of how very pleased I am with these particular pants.
From the hand, to the fit, length, width of waistband, these are perfect for holiday or other special occasions. I have another pair of velvet pants from QVC which have become too large due to weight loss. Even when these Victor Costa pants fit, the legs just had too much fabric at the top and were too full. These George Simonton's fall from the thigh and have a very slimming effect overall. In my opinion, these are the ones to buy.

Love these pants!
At this very moment, it is Christmas, I have my Pull-on Velvet Pants on. They are so soft, and the elastic band really helped today! Ha. Yesturday, I wore another pair of very similar pants by another maker that is very high end, but when I put these on and wore them all day, I could feel the difference, the way the pants are cut, they just hang and move with you so much better. I really love them, turn them inside out, wash gentle hang to dry! Absolutely beautiful fabric! I am going to get more of these pants!

Just received these gorgeous pants and they fit like a dream. So soft, drapes beautifully, perfect for going out or just sitting home by the fire.

Perfect Fit!
My first George Simonton but will not be my last! I carry all my weight around my waist and usually avoid elastic waist pants because they only emphasize my middle. But not these!!! The wide elastic band fits comfortably but they are not sloppy. The feel of the velvet is lush and they wash like a dream. I am now set for the holidays! Thanks George and I will now investigate the rest of your line!

Really lovely and well fitting pants!!
I have been looking for velvet pants for the holidays and didn't want to look like I was wearing sweat pants so I was avoiding elastic waist pants. The quality and drape of the fabric and way the pants fit makes them worth much more than the price. I am a curvey woman and these pants make me look and feel beautiful, thanks George!
