Perfect!
Stunning coat with great warmth. I live in So Cal but needed a warmer coat for the occasional cold day and this is the perfect coat. Great fit and true to size with roominess and comfort. Dress up or down. Love the hood and the buttons are different and very fashionable.

best coat ever
This is my second season with this coat and it is just as fantastic as the first. Nice and warm with real wool fabric yet not excessively hot. Very stylish with all the features - fake fur hood, tab sleeves and sides, nice button. Great shaping for the waist and princess seaming for my XL size. I got red, which is very glamorous and give my pale winter complexion a glow. Many compliments. Wears well with pants or skirts. Don't miss this one for long-lasting warmth and style. Love George's designs.

Lovely Coat
I am most impressed with this lovely coat. I love the way it feels when I wear it, and have received many compliments on it. Also, the hood stays on, which I love, as so many don't! I am 5'6, 140 pounds and the medium fits like a glove.

beautiful looking coat
The coat did not fit me that well, so I gave it to my daughter whose shoulders are wider and arms longer. The fit was more boxy than I liked. I guess I needed an a-line petite.
I thought the wool content would be nice for winter. Makes a nice dress coat!

The "Perfect" Coat!
Like another reviewer, I, too, wanted a coat for when my rain coat is not enough, but I didn't want to wear my large, puffy down coat. I also wanted something that looked a bit more polished than my down coat as well. This is THE coat! I purchased the red, and I love the color...not a dark, drab red...and also not a fire engine red. Just a nice warm....red! The length is perfect for when I'm wearing a bit longer tops with jeggings. Fits like it was made for me! BTW, I'm 5'7" and 150 lbs., and I purchased the medium, if that is of help to anyone. Love the length of the coat, and the length of the sleeves....everything is, well, PERFECT! :)

Beautiful, well tailored
Bought this last year and love the coat. It's warm, stylish, and gets noticed. Too bad last year was so mild in NE. Maybe all the acorns that are falling indicate I'll get more use this winter.

BEAUTIFUL!!!
I put this on when it arrived and I fell in love....it is absolutely the most comfortable coat iI think I have ever had on! Absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Runs a little large...returned for a large rather than an xlg. I am 5'3"/190lbs. Fur was silky,silky soft. I purchased the red, which is a RICH color, not too bright as I am blonde, and it is VERY flattering to skin tones...not brash. Saving for other colors!!! Very light weight, but WARM.

Casual/Dressy Jacket
Bought this jacket a couple of months ago and have really enjoyed wearing it this winter. The hood is nice to have when you need some extra protection from wind/rain and looks nice around the your face when you don't have it up. I wanted a mid-length wool coat for the days that a down-like puffy coat wasn't needed but I needed more than just a lightweight rain coat. I live in Seattle and have worn this in the rain--it's a good combination coat for cool wintery weather when you need to be outside and want something a little more dressy than a parka.

My Kind Of Coat!!!!
This is just what I wanted. A classic wool coat, that I will use for years to come. This is beautiful. Love the hood and the right amount of fur that makes it look so cute. The length is just right for me. This will definitely keep me warm. It feels so soft with the right amount of structure. It is just perfect......Thank you!

Just Beautiful
Glad I ordered this coat. I ordered a longer coat this year...but still wanted a shorter length for ease in wear on busy days. I was on the fence because I am not much of a "faux" person. A lot of faux fur looks and feels like a bath mat...even in this day and age. I loved the idea of a hood...just not the fur part. But I tried it anyway. The coat is well done and so is the "fur" part. I am not advocating wearing real fur...but still think it would have been nice to be able to remove the faux piece. As it is, there isn't too much of it...so it's not so bad. I got the black and it's not so visible. The coat is warm and comfortable without being too bulky and the hood blocks the cold winter winds. Great purchase even with the faux fur...
