George Simonton Bateau Neck Split Sleeve Lace Top with Tank
This is a fabulous top/tank set! I got the black/nude combo. I normally would take an XS, but the only size available was XXS so I took a chance- because I HAD to have it! And it fits great!! So glad I ordered it! I was concerned the neck line would be too constricting, especially since I ordered 1 size smaller, but it doesn't bother me. The top is very light with ample room. The tank is snug but not so much so that I need to replace it with something else. I wore it with A223569 (wouldn't let me recommend it, but look it up) & it looked so great. A woman in the grocery store stopped to compliment me! Made me feel beautiful. I also plan to wear it with just a plain black maxi skirt. It's gorgeous, airy, and perfect for southern summers! You won't know you're wearing it!
I tried every single tank I own to put underneath the lace top. I feel like I was being choked by the lace and just looked like I was wearing my grandmothers table cloth.
Love, Love, Love!!
This is by far the best top set I have purchased from QVC!! The lace top is so so soft and I love the cami as well. Need more soft lace tops like this one in dark colors.
I love this top. Got the white with black tank. I couldn't wear this tank alone but with the right bra you could manage or wear a different tank. The lace top is so soft and pretty. I could see wearing the orchid one at Easter.. I suppose the top could be used as a beach wear cover up but for me it would be too short as it hits me about mid hip. I love the way the arm openings are open at the center - it exposes some arm but just enough when you move. Yes, I would recommend this and would like to have another but it would be hard to decide on which color. I run between a L and XL and got this in L - fits perfect.
Pretty lace, but its awkward
I bought large in white and medium in melon. The melon is quite pretty. Since I'm large on my upper body, I cannot wear a camisole top, it just doesn't look right. So I tried several wider tank tops underneath and a pale nude/pink worked the best for both white and melon. But the lace hangs on the hips in a strange way. I'd wear it belted but couldn't mentally deal with how the lace kind of bunched on the hips. A small might work better.. if I wanted to do the ol switcheroo and wait 2 more weeks for the exchange. Smaller topped women look better in camisole tops. I think the lace would look better with an opening at neckline that goes down.
