Everybody should have one of these grill''s, you can do everything on them. I like them
a lot better the the old ones, which I still have. This one cleans up very nicely too. I love the
fact that you can broil in it too.

The plug was on the right side and none of the sockets in my kitchen are on the right. The cord is too short.
It did not grill my chicken breast nice. it cooked and did not have grill cooked lines on the chicken breast and the taste was not like it came off a George Foreman grill.
I was not satisfied!

This sat in the box for a week before I decided to take it out and see how it would work. My first thing to grill was brats but that wasn't listed in the book so I had to wing it. I always overcook brats so my husband told me to put it on the lowest grill setting and see what it would do. Way too low because a half hour in and it still wasn't cooking too well. Turned it up just a bit and it went faster. I know for next time I need to turn the heat up. Threw a hotdog on and it grilled up great.
Pros: I LOVE the removable plates - so EASY to remove. I LOVE the coating - so EASY to clean! I LOVE that the drip tray nestles in underneath the grill so I'm not going to risk knocking it off the counter. I LOVE the handle to grab and lift the lid. I LOVE the floating lid to adjust to different sizes. The color is beautiful. Preheat lights and on/off lights, broil knob - all awesome design. I love the variable temp gauge. I have not used the broil feature but that alone is the reason I bought this grill. Fits perfect on my small counter.
Con: Only one con and it is minor so I didn't take a star away but the plate size is smaller than I thought it would be for the size of the grill. My last GF grill had a larger surface area but I'd still take this one any day over the old one. Well done.
Rated 2 out of 5 by Nicaroo Grill plates are NOT non stick
Normally I am a big fan of George Foreman. While this cooks well (I have not tried the broiler yet) the cream colored non-stick plates are anything but. Meat sticks to the top and bottom of the grill plates. Very disappointed.

I wanted a new foreman grill and this one seemed ideal. Sadly, I am in the process of sending it back. The first few times I grilled steaks and burgers it worked fine. Tried the waffles next, and they came out good too. Then everything started to stick to the grill plates, leaving half the food by the time I did get the food off. And no amount of recommended cleaning method - even in the dishwasher - removed the brown stains on the bottom plate. Strangely, the brown marks are now showing up on the plates after being turned on, BEFORE the meat is even put on the grill. Too much money to pay for a waffle maker. Definitely not recommended. I'll be on the lookout for a foreman grill like my old one, with the cast iron plates.

Years ago I bought one of the very first George Forman grills that were made. It was not very good, it has no off /on switch and one heat setting which was hot and it was quite messy and hard to clean. Fast forward now to the latest Forman Grill produced. I've been using it to grill chicken breasts, make waffles, make griled cheese sandwiches and I've made turkey burgers as well. At first the unit worked ok, and food did not stick to the plates, however now I'm noticing that no matter what we put on it , after a few minutes if you open it the food is stuck to the top plate and has to be peeled off with a silicone spatula since I dont want to use metal or scratch it in any way. The grill does work, but clean up is a messy job on this one, it was fine for a while, just rinse the plates off with hot water and a wash cloth with a few drops of Dawn liquid and the plates were clean as new. I'm just very disappointed in this product, I've gotten all sorts of Ceramic Coated pots and pans recently and they are really NON STICK no matter what I cook. Another drawback is the grease catching tray, you need to be extra careful when it's almost full so you don't knock it over as I once did onto the counter top and had a real mess to clean up. I've been cooking for over 50 years, and know what I'm doing in the kitchen. The George Forman needs an ON OFF switch on top so you dont get your hand burned turning it OFF as I did, (switch is on the side near the bottom) . Also the temperature knob is very flimsy and it's not a precision dial as many appliances have. Removing and replacing the plates is good, thats easy and well done. This may sound like nit picking but it needs better rubber feet to keep it from sliding on the counter when you open it up, it offen wants to slide backwards. Overall I only give it 3 stars, and I seriously wish I did not buy it, because it's not one of my regular use appliances anymore, I got tired of the food getting stuck to the top plate, I hope you have better luck, it says do not spray the plates with cooking spray so I have not tried to do that. In my opinion it's not worth the money or the frustration when the food is stuck, or the tray is full of grease , it should have a built in removeable grease tray as others have done, like the Cuisinart grill.
