Genie Bra Set of 4 Lace Trim Seamless Bras w/ Modesty Pads
I have bought quite a few things from Qvc over the years.BUT I'm so happy I purchased the Genie bras.I never have to adjust them during the day.I love them. Could you come out with just packages of white ones for the summer. I think they will be a good seller.
larger gals need not apply
I agree with previous reviewers if you are C-D go up at 2 sizes. Using the QVC size chart I would be a Medium not knowing if I needed a L or an XL I ordered both and found the L flattened my "girls" out (I am a C cup) the XL gave them more room. However, more room meant less support. I simply don't think this product is good for women over a B cup. If you are an A I think this would be great, very comfy. I found it to wash well in my front load washer (hand wash setting) and air dry, but I only washed one time to return. The fabric would snag so keep rough items or jewelry away. I think products that are ill suited to certain people should not be marketed to them, don't waste our time and money. We are busy and our time is valuable. If this is something great for A-B gals just market it that way, so I'm telling you to listen to the other reviewers; if you are looking for the support of a bra, and you are C cup or over and are not enhanced (no plastic surgery and the girls are naturally going south) this is NOT going to give you the support you are looking for. Also the band around the ribs does ride up as you sit and move around, and you have to reach up and pull it back down. Imagine doing that thru your work day. This cannot be worn under low cut clothing as a modesty item as it is low cut, at least as a C cup wearing the XL I could not do this. If it were in my budget I would have kept this item to wear during my in home work outs, but certainly not at the gym. The "modesty liners" are irritating. Think about your bra cup, it is the same all the way around if it is a soft cup, padded, lace etc the whole cup is that way. The liners they give you are not the size or shape of the cup of the Genie Bra (they are a triangle) which bothered me, and if worn under a fine gauge knit or silk you would see that outline of the triangle of the liner. When I tested my Genie Bra I did it without the Modesty liners. The colors are pretty and the band around the ribs do minimize back fat which was the plus. I only think an A cup should give it a try, maybe B cup I don't know how much bigger the size is and support needs are from A to B. Hope this is helpful.
Love these bras
I have always had a "special bra" I bought. Within two days two of my bras broke the underwire. I never purchased Genie or never paid attenion to the presentationl I thought I would try them and was I surprisedl They are so comfy and I just love them. The straps don't fall down like my other ones. And they minimize my figure. I know I'll purchase more!!!!
Genie bra is 96% nylon
These bras are comfortable, but not when I sweat! They are 96% nylon, with no cotton to absorb sweat, Around the house I wear them without the pads. My breasts seem to become one than, ha. I couldn't fit into a smaller size than what I purchased. They also seem to fit better before I washed them? I would buy them again if they made them with part cotton/spandex,
Super Secret Bonus
I recently went through a double mastectomy with no reconstruction. A friend told me about the Genie Bras. If you remove the modesty panels, you can easily fit a prosthetic into the existing pocket. The first time I wore my Genie bra with my prosthetics I felt normal again. I looked like myself and I was truly comfortable for the first time in a long time. I know this isn't the intended use, but for women like me - it's the best use I could ever imagine. Thank you!
Confused About Sizing
I have one Genie Bra in size M. I ordered the lace trimmed in size M. They fit like a small. What is happing with the sizing? Made in China. I wear 36-B bra normally.
OMG! Never Wearing Anything But Genie!
So comfy, soft and pretty. These bras never pinch or require constant pulling or tugging to readjust! Smooth silhouette and so comfy you can wear them to bed! Please more colors or patterns.
While I'm pretty busty, I find these bras to be the most comfortable "lounging" bras I've ever worn. I've even accidently worn them out on errands. Like I said, I'm quite busty so I wouldn't normally wear something like these out; however; I did and will again. I am currently experiencing horrific shoulder pain and the straps on my regular bras, although wide just hurt wearing them.
If you take the CORRECT measurement #under your breasts# they are super!
Like everyone else said, this was very small. The band was OK, but the bust part was teeny tiny. So don't order up 1 size, order up 2 sizes if you are a C or over. When I read the size chart it didn't say measure the fullest part of the breast, so I measured the band size and ordered up from there. I should have measured differently. I wanted this for a nighttime bra, not a daytime support or sports bra and unfortunately, It had to go back. On a positive note, the colors were wonderful.
I love This Bra
I live in this bra. They are truly comfortable. I only gave it four stars because the need to improve the modesty pay. They are nearly impossible to get in and out for washing. The color get dingy after washing a few times. As for comfort, I give them 5 stars.
NOT FOR ME
They were not that comfortable. Sorry to say I had to return them!!!
I had shoulder surgery and am not quite able to raise my arm to wear a regular bra. It was suggested I wear a sports bra because I could step into it and pull it up. Really, had that person ever worn a sports bra? Not really easy to get in and out of. So I tried these even though reviewers are mixed on it. I love them. They are easy to get in and out of, comfortable and the fabric doesn't seem too thin and with the modesty pads they're perfect. My only issue is that the band does roll on me.
