Love Garmen Altho I had problems with the one I have received (which I have returned and requested a replacement of the same item) today. I absolutely love garmin products. Thank You QVC for the ease of exchanging . Can hardly wait to get the replacement. Easy to use and understand. 03-25-12
You Need This. Get It. If you don't have a GPS system, get one. It will pay for itself in time you won't waste getting lost, studying maps, dealing with traffic delays. Garmin beats the in-dash GPS I have in my car. The in-dash lady is always sending us down the wrong roads, the Garmin lady knows the way to go. 03-12-12
disapointed I liked the visual layout of the GPS but my kept sending me the wrong way and constantly was recalculating and changing the directions as I was driving. It also kept losing it's satellite. I also tried it going routes that I take everyday and it would send me 8 miles out of the way. I realize some have issues but the downloaded maps were so off base i wonder how old the maps were when installed from the company. 03-04-12
Space-Saver Just finished a cross-country trip with my new Garmin nuvi. If you've ever driven such a trip, you simply must have a Garmin GPS. This unit mounted quickly (unmounted at night just as quickly), found it's location and reported each intersection, road name, and interchange configuration well ahead of my car. I especially found the posted speed limit reminder helpful. I love everything about the Garmin and am looking forward to my next out of town trip so I can use it again. Thanks Garmin and QVC. 02-20-12
Best thing for traveling to jobs. I bought this after having a TomTom GPS. It had stopped working. This is fabulous with the traffic & maps lifetime. I am a traveling nurse & frequently have to go to places I have never been before. It has gotten me there on time & safely numerous times. I just wish I could get the voice I had from my TomTom. I would recommend it to everyone who is questioning the proper GPS purchase. 02-17-12
Pretty Good GPS To me the most disappointing thing about this unit is that it doesn't indicate the total miles to your destination on the screen. Secondly when you pay as much money as you do for one of these you think it would include a complete manual and not expect you to have to download one costing additional if you want to print it out. There is a round plastic disc included with the unit but there was no place that I could find that tells you what it is for. I am assuming that under the paper is an adhesive for mounting it some place other than your windshield. Other than the things listed above it is very fast acting so I am very satisfied from that stand point. The mounting assembly included is good and have not had any problems as of yet. 02-08-12
Good but could be better I bought this as a replacement for my 5 Year old Garmin unit. I like the lifetime updates for Maps and Traffic. But the unit doesn’t scroll as well as my old unit. As I go from the Interstate to a Ramp the screen blacks out and has to call up another map of the ramp. My old one didn’t do that. It was seamless. So much for progress. It also tells me there is Traffic Ahead, but there isn’t any. I don’t blame the unit, but it must be the provider of the Traffic information. Also the screen is jerky while backing up in my driveway. Don't know what that is all about. Garmin gets me where I want to go. But I like the bigger screen, so I guess it was a good buy. 02-07-12
My Best Friend I have owned other brands. but this one is by far the best !!! 02-04-12
AWESOME Perfect...this unit does it all..speed limits, lanes, accidents warnings, bluetooth, 02-01-12
Not for me it has a lot of good stuff, but I found the lettering on the keyboard was small and the alphabet keyboard is irregular. I returned it. 01-29-12
Husband loved his present from "Santa"! Got this for my husband (who by no means needs help getting around in this town or surrounding areas he has lived in his whole life) for Christmas. The reason I did go ahead and get it for him was because he was starting a new sales job in January and figured even though he knew how to get to most surrounding towns he would be visiting, this could take him directly to someone's door. His first week, they ended up going on an 8-hr road trip for a training session. He called laughing from the truck because the area they were in was so congested with traffic that the Garmin asked him did he want to switch to Pedestrian Mode since it noticed the truck was moving so slowly!! LOL I said well...sometimes they say it feels like you could get out and walk faster..maybe Garmin had a good idea LOL It did help them around construction and some traffic in the area....but where they were at and the time of day it was, there was literally just no other option but to hit the heavy traffic at that time. He doesn't get "tickled" by much..but I think when the Garmin asked about switching modes, that got him good! Outside of that specific incident (which we still think is hilarious), he says it's great to have even when he's in areas he's familiar with. Would definitely recommend! 01-25-12
So glad I bought this!!! So I bought a Magellan from another store and returned it after a week later because after trying to update it and Magellan wanted me to send to them and they would send me a refurbished one so I returned it and bought this one.GARMIN AND QVC DID NOT LET ME DOWN!!!! We needed this for a trip to Disney world we are taking in February so I tested it out around town and it works like a charm. It is easy to use and updating only took 30-40 minutes. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! 01-24-12
