This is a must have with your Garmin
I can't say enough about this friction mount. With any bumps on the road, it doesn't move. Sticky surfaces are something not needed, no suction cups wanted, just this one is needed. It doesn't matter how the dash is shaped, it stays put. Great purchase.

I love this for my Garmin !!!!!!!!! no sliding around or falling off the windsheild. No obstructed view of the road.

Love It!!
Have a new car and don't wont the garmin on my wind shield. It leaves marks when you take it off and this friction mount is just what I needed. Can hide it when I am parked some where and know one will know. Plus,this is so much faster to put on the dash board and go. I love this item because it gives me a piece of mind knowing that you don't see that suction cup mark on your car wind shield. How great is that ?

This is great! I couldn't wait to try it out and its just as good as the reviews say. I can finally have my GPS within reach and sight. It stays on the dash and doesn't move. Its so much netter than having it hard wired and I didn't want to mount it on the windshield.

This friction mount is FANTASTIC!
I'm so happy that I purchased this friction mount to hold my first GPS Garmin Nuvi. So easy to use and once you put this on your dashboard it does not move! I found it very easy to snap out my Garmin and lock it up and put this mount under my seat so I don't advertise I have a GPS in the car. This is really great! It's affordable and I think much easier than mounting the GPS on the window, especially if you are using an automatic toll device in the car as well. I placed it on my dash right in front of the steering wheel and it was absolutely perfect! I was able to navigate the roads very easily. Along with my Nuvi this is a GODSEND!

great gps mount
this is so much better than the tell tale window mount. It stays where ever you place it & easy to remove off of the dash so noone knows there is a gps in the car. You get what you pay for & this proves it. Great value for the dollar!!!

I like this alot better than the one that sticks on the window. Doesn't move at all and can take it off the dash when I am not using it...love it!

Buying This After Using One in Rental Car
'Have wanted a GPS, but didn't know what to get or how to mount. Last year I ordered a TomTom with the usual suction cup mount. Neither worked for me. I have a sportscar with a long deep dash but slanted front window. The rental car company let me use a Garmin and the Friction Mount in a large SUV. Both were GREAT! The Friction Mount worked well both on the dash and on the console. It was easy to stow on the floor of the SUV and quick to 'install' when returning to the car. Also easy to adjust it for better viewing and less obstruction. In the sportscar it works well on the console or pulled close for peripheral viewing while still being able to see our the long front window. Highly recommend this mount. AND no tell tale mount or suction cup ring on the window telling thieves there might be a GPS in the car. Great bonus feature!
