CHECK THE DIRECTIONS BEFORE 30 DAYS ARE UP I bought this because the speaker went out on my 1st garmin after 2 years and I was leaving on a trip in days. My suggestion is to use it in a familiar area to you in the 1st 30 days Maybe I got a lemon, but it tells me things are on the right when they are on the left, tells me to go south on a highway when I need to go north, and instead of telling me to turn left to go to the post office, it made me go another half mile, make a right go another mile, make a u turn and go bacK to where i should have turned left! Map updates did not help 12-22-11
So happy I bought it! The Garmin Nuvi is awesome! I am so happy with this product! I purchased this product for an upcoming vacation, I would give it a 10. Yes, you do have to have an additional charge cord besides the one that comes with the product for the car, I just used my phone charger cord for the home, It fit! 10-20-11
additional charger Can't tell you how the product works, the host failed to mention that in order to charge it you need to buy an additional in home charger. Who is going to be running their car for hours to charge this. 09-18-11
