Rated 4 out of 5 by from Workhorse, does it's job well! Major Pros & Cons to this unit. MAJOR PRO; it pulls humidity out of the air like I can't even believe! So we are very pleased that it does that. It is compact and easy to move around, which is nice. I bought the unit because we live in Florida and the weather has been so mild that it's not hot enough to run the A/C, and not cold enough to run the heat a lot, so the humidity levels in the house have been horrible. This machine pulled 50 pints of water in the first 18 hours it ran! Maybe even less time, I wasn't watching closely enough, but before I knew it, we were having to empty it. It continues to pull humidity out at major levels. I have to empty it each day or every other day. I am VERY grateful that it works so well. CONS; I needed it for our master bedroom and, while others have said it is quiet, that's not my feeling. It makes quite a loud blowing sound, which, in a bedroom where you sleep is a bit problematic for me. But I understand it has to function. Secondly, it really heats up the room! By several degrees. I'm trying to keep it cool in my room, so this is a real issue for me. Sooo, I have figured out that I can run the unit during the day when I'm not sleeping and shut it off at night. Problem solved. And I REALLY needed this unit to pull out the moisture and it does that VERY WELL, so, very happy it works so well. Thank you.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works as Advertized This unit was a warranty replacement of an older model Frigidaire 50 pint dehumidifier that was part of a product recall. So far it works as expected. My only issue is that it is difficult to clean the collection bucket as the clear, plastic top to the bucket cannot easily be removed to thoroughly clean it. Rated 4 out of 5 by from Features are great My 2 Frigidaire dehumidifier. Last one lasted for 17 ys worked great. This one works great but not as energy efficient as advertised.would recommend if energy efficiency is not of great importance. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hose Hookup I buy this model regularly and exclusively. There’s no problem with the hose connection, but test your hose on the unit or a spicket BEFORE lugging it into place. Lots of hoses have their own bad washers. I put them in Crawl Spaces frankly with Encapsulations & the 50 pint is perfect. It’s a bummer to be in a crawlspace with a leaky hose over a dime washer [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works well, runs nice Have had this for a month, previous brand was cheaper, but it was loud-- and inefficient. This frigidaire is quieter, and even on same setting, doesn't run constantly. Quieter too. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
