These work well with my food saver, however didn't realize these were expandable. My fault. I do not like them at all, but will use them anyways.

We have the Foodsaver and absolutely love it. The one other reviewer here stated they had a hard time getting them to seal properly. I have found that as you are sealing them to make sure you are holding the sides tightly as if you are trying to stretch them. As you are doing this it increases the machines ability to draw more air out.
I highly recommend the Foodsaver if you are on a budget and trying to make every grocery dollar count :)

I have tried using these bags a couple different ways always have problems getting them to seal. When I think I have mastered it I find the bags are full of air. Waste of money and time. Won't purchase again.

Horrible... I purchased numerous rolls due to the buy-one-get-one promotion. Now I see why they were on special... waste of money

I have 2 rolls of these bags and I have tried to double seal, and they still don't stay sealed. I even did a stuffed animal for air travel and it did not stay sealed! I love the idea of this product, but the seal did not hold on a prime rib...cash in the trash.

This is the product I have been missing. Recently, I purchased 10 lbs of king crab legs. The expandable bags allowed me to break it into two packages and freeze with no problem. Some of the legs are the size of my arm, so the regular roll bags, while long enough did not have the ability to hold many legs.

This type of roll worked well for my pies that I wanted to freeze

I smoked 2 turkeys about 10.5 lbs each. I packaged 1 hot off the smoker to take to a dinner about 1 hour away. I put that into an insulated bag and it stayed hot and ready for carving. The other bird I left to cool, vacuum packed it and put it into the fridge. Took it out 5 days later, carved it up, portioned it out with side dishes, put into trays, used regular vacuum bags, froze them later use. I have found they last over a year. Put them into boiling water until hot and they are as good as the day they were made.
