Rated 5 out of 5 by Love It Tried the bread recipes and they are yummy. What a great additional way to use the slow cooker. 06-25-16
Rated 4 out of 5 by easy to use, very good recipes I received my book a couple of days ago and made the raspberry almond bars, the magic cookie bars, and three of the quiches in my 3 crockpots for a brunch earlier today. I had back up things vacuum sealed in the freezer in case I had to bail on the quiches, BUT ... they came out perfect on the very first try. The book only disappointed me in that it is not a hard cover as I had come to understand that it would be. The recipes are easy to follow and this cookbook will be among the ones that I look forward to using with my grandchildren. 06-18-16
Rated 1 out of 5 by Bad purchase Nothing good tried a few recipes they had no good flavor- very bland 05-18-16
Rated 1 out of 5 by not worth buying There was only one recipe that I might consider making. Most were for a slow cooker size or shape that I do not have or need. I can find recipes that I would use online rather than spend the money on this book. AND I collect cookbooks - this one will not be joining my collection. Also there were pages missing and the pages were upside down. 02-18-16
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Book Gave this as a gift, and the person loves it. She has made a few recipes, and they are delicious. 02-18-16
Rated 3 out of 5 by Mixed Feelings The recipes in this book sound wonderful, when I received it I wanted to try the Strawberry and cream quick bread. I have a Ninja, gathered up all the ingredients and went to work. Did everything as stated and did the whole three to four hour baking and even resisted too much peeking. I waited for the loaf to cool completely before removing from the pan. It looked ok but was so wet it just wasn't very appealing. It also had way too much cream cheese, I would cut back If I even made it again. I will try some of the other recipes as I did stock up on the ingredients I would need for them. I really hope some of the others turn out better. 02-10-16
Rated 4 out of 5 by Exciting This is an exciting idea to try. Book is well written and has color photos of each recipe. I was however, disappointed that I paid more for this book than on Amazon, only because QVC listed it as hardcover, which is what I wanted, but is not. I read cookbooks as novels and I am looking forward to trying many of these recipes. 02-07-16
Rated 1 out of 5 by Not a Good Idea This is the worst idea in baking ever. Just getting started with equipment is a challenge. The amount you can do at one time is very limited in most cases. Not for me. 02-06-16
