Rated 1 out of 5 by from Updates Setup Not Worth Price Very disappointed with product. Sent back and received another one and still had problems setting up. Online reviews also state set ups take too long. When it worked it was great but updating discouraged use of product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Packs a Punch! This is my first FITBIT watch and I'm impressed. There are a lot of features and stats that this tracks for you. I paired my IONIC to my TRACFONE Android and they work great together. Now you can listen to music thru the IONIC(via bluetooth wireless headphones) but I strongly suggest using your wireless music thru the phone...due to the fact that sound reproduction is reduced greatly via IONIC's limited memory space. I use 1MORE wireless earbuds via my phone and it keeps me happy. IONIC will be more accurate on your calories and heart rate than any gym elliptical or bike. Be patient with yourself in learning all the features of the IONIC, plus keep in mind you can remove any features you don't want or add on later. Lots of FITBIT music stations to choose from and some you can pay for after a free trial. IONIC has a lot going for it but I know the next generation will be better.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very hit or miss Are you feeling lucky? Then go for it. I bought the watch tried for a week to get it to update, which is part of the setup process. It never would. So since I've had the surge fitbit watch and it has always worked great, I figured it must be that particular watch is a dud. I returned it for a replacement. Received the new one last week and have spent that whole week off and on trying to get it to work. Same problem, sometimes it syncs mostly not. Never could get the update to load. I went to the fitbit website and apparently this is a problem they've had since October when the watch first came out and they STILL have not fixed it. Getting it on sale was great, but not when you can't get it to work. Maybe they'll fix it or maybe they'll just move on and make more watches, I noticed they've just released another one. I'm returning this one too.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Happy so far. I spent weeks on the fence about this purchase and compared it to the Apple Watch as far as price and fitness functionality, and Ionic won. Get it when it’s on sale. Just an FYI: you cannot respond to calls or messages from this watch. You will get alerts of incomings only. Also, if you crack the screen or actually break it, it is NOT repairable. What I like: My phone (iPhone 6) synced up quickly and easily during setup. Previously I had the Fitbit One (LOVED!!) so before I even turned on the ionic, I removed the One from the app, made sure the app was updated/current, sat close to my WiFi router, and ensured the Bluetooth on my phone was on. Zero issues. Wallet feature on the ionic is hit or miss, depending on your bank. My credit union was not found but my capital one card was added easily. Love being able to use my watch to make purchases (where available). Good security feature in the watch: if you add a credit card, a passcode is required to be entered into the watch whenever you take it off your wrist. So if you lose it, no one can pick it up to make purchases. There is also a Starbucks app preloaded where you can add your Starbucks account or gift card and make purchases at Starbucks with your watch. Pandora app requires an account with premium (paid) access to use the service on your watch. I am not a fan of pandora but I went ahead and subscribed and it works well. Paired easily with my Bose Soundsport Free and works like a charm. “Watchfaces” can be changed as often as you’d like through the app The sleep tracking is absolutely fantastic and detailed. Easily set goals and see when you are every night. Battery life is top notch so far. 4 days before needing a charge. What I don’t like: It took nearly 4 hours to successfully sync pandora playlists to my watch. I’m not savvy on pandora, so there’s that, but once I finally got the sync started it took about 20 minutes each playlist. It will sync 3-4 but the next day I only had 2 playlists. Bit aggravating but I’ll keep trying. Transferring music to the watch has been unsuccessful thus far. I gave up after a day of trying but I will revisit once I have more patience. Recently discovered the steps tracking is NOT accurate. Huge bummer. I average 12k steps a day and was really surprised that I had hit 13-14k steps the first few days of wearing the ionic! Turns out it’s been counting hand movements as “steps” and since I stock shelves, it inflates the total count by quite a bit. Placed watch on non-dominant wrist and updated on app and still is an issue. Watchfaces, while neat, are still limited. Apps are limited but all should be changing soon. Why did I still rate this 4 stars? Overall it’s a good watch. Full price is too much, but being on sale (and EasyPay!!) boom! Mine! Features are good and the watch looks great. Even with small wrists it doesn’t feel clunky. BUY A WATCHFACE PROTECTOR! Buy it before you get the watch. Get the ones that go over the actual watch and buttons. It’s a pain to put on but well worth it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Never had a bad Fitbit...Until Now Won't synch to my app, won't stay charged, and I haven't even paid it off. Very disappointed. Never had a problem with QVC product until now. Don't even know where to start. I need to replace however 300.00 is a lot of money to throw away on something that doesn't work properly. Worked for about 4 months. Very sad.
