Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Cup Of Joe !! Best cup of coffee I've tasted !! Like other reviews, I too have a Keurig & an auto-drip maker as well. There's just nothing like "perked" coffee.......& the smell is wonderful !! Takes me back to when I was a little girl & could smell the coffee perking throughout the house...... 10-17-16
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Quality I received this coffee pot this afternoon and I immediately made some coffee and it was great. Over the years I'd grown tired of various coffeemakers that after a while coffee starts to taste bitter because it's virtually possible to clean them properly, especially the k-cup makers. And the drip makers do the same. Neither last very long and it's to much trouble to locate warranty documents and then pack it up and pay high postage to return it. So this pot is fantastic. It is very easy to clean, you get a real cup of perked coffee and it's nice to have the aroma of coffee in the house again. Now I don't have to worry about it not working in the mornings when I just want my coffee. QVC is one of two places I was able to find a stovetop percolator and as always they had the best price. 09-06-16
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best coffee ever!!! I love the idea of all stainless. Trying to get away from plastic. This is a great coffee pot. So retro. Just love it. If you are interested in a wonderful, clean cup of coffee, get this pot. Highly recommend. It is really easy too. 09-06-16
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Product!!! My husband and I were in the market for a percolator and I decided to check the Q and found this gem. I have to say the 5 star reviews peeked my interest. It works great. The Farberware name also gave me confidence I would receive a quality product. I have a Farberware pots and pan set I received as a wedding gift over 30 years ago and I still use every piece of that set to this day! 08-09-16
Rated 5 out of 5 by On stove stainless percolator This is a great item. This is a good coffee maker if you like the real taste of coffee, which I do! 07-13-16
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent ! I have had a Keurig for several years and I have enjoyed it, however, I was getting tired of the high price of K Cups and feeling guilty about adding to the landfill! As well, I became concerned about the issue of germs associated with the Keurig. So, I got this. It takes longer, but the coffee is great (follow enclosed directions or go online). It is simple, feels better to use a freshly washed and dried stainless steel pot, I'm not adding to the landfills, and the cost of coffee is way down. And, it will last forever!! Totally a win-win in my opinion! 06-24-16
Rated 4 out of 5 by Love it !!! Previous coffee maker was the old drip drip. No longer satisfied me. Wanted an old time percolator. I like this one better than the electric one. 06-22-16
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Basic Coffee Maker This makes great coffee. Easy to use and clean. Can take it with you if you are camping or traveling where you have access to a hot plate or burner, or burner on a grill. No electric power needed as long as you have a heat source. So if the power goes out I still have coffee. This makes some of the best coffee you can have no matter what brand or type of coffee you get at a much lower price. Better than coffee shops coffee. It does take a little more time to make coffee if making the full 8 cups because you are waiting for the water to boil and then waiting for the seven minute perk time, but it's well worth the wait and the aroma that fills the air is wonderful. It also does require paying a little more attention to it. Its not really set and forget. I'm done with Kurig and other electric drip coffee makers. Ive paid over $150.00 for machines only to have them stop working after only a year or two and then having to replace them. They are expensive to buy, own and operate, take up counter space, and the coffee is often not that hot and often not that good. The capsules are no bargain (and take more space up to store) and you lose the sensorial pleasure of fresh coffee brewing in the house. I would reccomend getting a thermal caraffe if you want to make the coffee and keep it pipeing hot for a longer period of time. For relatively little expense, you should have this percolator for a lifetime and could hand it down to other family members. Sometimes the old way is really still the best way of getting coffee. 06-18-16
