I bought this set about a month ago and am completely satisfied with the very high quality of the product and the results I get. It's my first ever pressure cooker - you know, that fear-of-scraping-the-pot-roast-off-the-wall feeling . . . . Entirely unfounded, of course. My new year's resolution was that we would do a better job of taking care of ourselves generally and eat good, healthy, nutritional food. However, cooking has never excited me so I needed to make it less of a chore while still sticking to my resolution. This pressure cooker is my answer. Even as a complete beginner, I find it very easy to use, great meals are on the table in record time, there is often extra for the freezer, easy clean-up . . . What's not to love? In addition, I now look forward to getting a meal ready. Who knew I would ever say that??? Now I actively look online for more recipes to try. The instructions that come with the pressure cooker are very clear and idiot-proof. You cannot do it wrong if you read them first and keep them close at hand until you're confident. The recipe book contains some tasty recipes. We have especially loved the Ligurian Lemon Chicken and the Italian Bean Minestrone, but there are errors in some of the recipes so read them carefully before you start. I highly recommend this set. You really will be glad you bought it.

I purchased this Combi Set about 12 to 15 yrs ago and it was the greatest purchase I could have made. The gaskets are some what old but they still work very well.

I bought this about six months ago and have not been disappointed in it. It is stainless steel and easy to operate and with exception of the pressure cooker lid, it is dishwasher safe. There are so many safety features it cannot possibly blow up like the older pressure cookers. You just need to go through a learning curve to know when to turn down the heat your stove once the psi is reached. You can even put the silicon sealers in the dishwasher. I bought extra silicon sealers through Fagor. Just remember to register your product with Fagor. Mine also came with a trivet so that when you use the steamer basket your food is not sitting in water. Fagor is now one of the best pressure cookers in the world. I am so glad that QVC is now offering this Duo Combi. The booklet that comes with it is so informative and the recipes are great. I have been able to adapt recipes from a very old pressure cooker book and the recipes come out perfectly. You cannot go wrong with this product.

I have been using pressure cookers all my life and my old one finely gave up the ghost so to speak. I was looking for a new one but could not make up my mind between an electric one or a stove top. After much research on the internet the stove top won ( my old one was a stove top also ) This Fagor Duo looks very nice and is made very well, it is completely silent and safe to use. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

I was hesitant to use a stovetop pressure cooker because of all the negative hype you hear about, but I am so glad I threw caution to the wind. I previously had a 6 qt oval electronic Technique pressure cooker that lasted about a year before it stopped functioning despite low usage and excellent maintenance. My neighbor had the same experience with her smaller Cook's Essentials model. This set is less expensive than the electronic one I had to throw away and is much more versatile. I have used both the 4 qt and 8 qt under pressure and love them. They come up to pressure quicker than the electronic one and take up less space to store, not to mention that each can be used as a regular cooking vessel. They also clean up beautifully and have a much better warranty. I don't think I'll ever go back to electronic models and these are every bit as safe. I am so glad I made the switch. I also highly recommend the the Pressure Cooker Perfection cookbook (F11027). It will de-mystify the whole stovetop pressure cooking experience and the recipe's are excellent.
