Eurosteam Steam Iron w/Boiler Tank & Lint Brush Attachment
Euro Steam need maybe category
I received the iron and it was not what I was expecting. I was at the Ohio quilter's expo 2014 show and saw this brand of iron. I thought the iron I saw had a smooth bottom surface and more holes on the bottom for steaming. My sister order this iron from QVC and said this was the iron that we saw. I tried to reach out and find the person who showed the iron at the Ohio quilter's expo but could not make the connect. I also went on their website and the price of the iron is much higher. I have a rotary cuff injury and it is heavier than my injured arm can endure. I loved the non-stick bottom surface of the iron. I tried it but I could not get the steam aspect right the manufacturer sent a note stating why the steam was funny in the beginning because they had to test it to make sure it works right. I always watch the videos about the products when they have them. So QVC needs to have a maybe category as not to rule out a good product. The only minus was its heavy so make sure you have a good arm. So it would not be fair to tell someone not to get it or to get it so I can't say yes and can't say no. Just get it and see if it works for you if your arm is not injured! I love QVC Products
I am sewing at my church, making dresses from pillowcases for the pastor to take to Africa and my follow church members who saw the iron in action would like to purchase it. They thinks it is wonderful. I did the balloon demonstration and everyone went wild!!!!!! I was asked to let everyone know when the iron comes back to QVC. Please bring it back for another TSV.
This is the best steam iron I have ever owned. Love that it does not burn fabric and can be used on everything. Very pleased with this product.
Have had this iron about 2 months & use it often. Was excited to do the "burn" test & it's true! Never been able to iron w/o ruining something in the past, but not with this iron! It is weighty & when running the steam constantly it does run out quickly calling for a refill of water, but these 2 minor details are worth the sacrifice (if u will) for the quality of this iron. I actually look forward to ironing which I never have before! I would say it's great for those just getting started like teens & college students that don't have much experience with an iron.
beat iron I have ever used, cut ironing time in half. don't how I managed before .
Problem Solved! Great Product
I really like this product, and have used it many times successfully ... after a trial and error period. It worked fine the first couple of times, but then I started having issues with steam escaping from the safety cap, just as others have noted. The rubber o-ring around the cap cracked, and that was the reason for the steam escaping. I replaced the o-ring, but I stopped using the red cap remover to tighten the cap prior to turning it on. Just hand-tightening the cap until it was snug, without over-tightening it, did the trick. No more steam escaping, use after use! I'm very pleased with the results I get with my clothes, of all different materials and weights. Using the controlled steam setting allows me to prepare many articles of clothing for wearing with just one tank fill, and I never have the problem others have noted about clothes being too wet. I work in a professional environment, and my clothes look like I just picked them up from the cleaners!
Was a good steam iron
Now it is several months and I wish I could send it back. Steams out the top hole and uses water faster than I can use the iron. Do not buy.
I am very disappointed with this iron. I also have experienced a lot of black "stuff" that comes out of the iron after pouring out any remaining water. I too, followed all the directions and the video. I "cleaned" the iron using vinegar and water as directed in the instruction book but the black stuff still comes out. I hate that this iron cost me $165. Qvc should not sell it.
A waist of money
I was very disappointed with this iron. The burst of steam feature leaves wet spots on the fabric. The iron doesn't get hot enough to iron out wrinkles. Don't waist your money!
Works well on heavy fabrics
I hesitated purchasing this because of the negative reviews. However, after reading many of them, I decided that some people may not have been using it properly. I am happy that I bought it because I use it all the time to iron king sized duvet covers. I can fold the king size cover in half, and iron it that way. It works beautifully. I have also used it successfully on many fabrics that you CANNOT use a regular iron on. And yes, you do have to fill it after a time, but it only takes a few minutes to cool down, and refill it. I am happy.
Time and Clothing Saver
This iron is CRAY CRAY amazing! It glides over ANY material and simply will not burn it. I thought you couldn't beat a competing brand (starts w/ an "R"), but HOLY hot steam....it blows all other irons out of the water. A homerun. It saves me time ironing and NEVER leaves heat marks on any fabrics. One of my most favorite purchases ever. Worth every cent.
This Iron Is Amazing ... Much Better Than Expected
I was told by many of my friends and a few family members that I had to get this iron but I was hesitant since I already had a good iron. I finally relented and boy, am I glad I listened to them. I purchased this iron and it is so much better than I expected. It de-wrinkles clothing of all types and the steam is awesome for many different fabrics. This iron is very gentle with my luxe fabrics and irons everything to perfection. And, it is even strong enough to get out tough wrinkles that are very deep. There is nothing that I don't like about this iron, it works very well and I can tell that the quality is spectacular. I like it so much, I am buying one for my sister and one for my niece. I highly recommend this iron, even if you have an iron at home, you will definitely want to get this one, it works wonderfully.
