Ethiopian Opal & Baguette White Zircon Bold Ring, 14K 5.50 cttw is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 21.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Brilliant Opal The opal in my ring is brilliant with colors. Green, blue, red, yellow and orange depending on the lighting. Stone size is generous for the price, but my stone is not symmetrical which really bothers me. The setting is solid and complimentary to the opal. The white zircon are not set smoothly, nor do they sparkle and shine like the ring used for the presentation. Overall I would not recommend to a friend without a disclaimer with regard to the imperfections. I'm struggling with exchanging for another ring to compare the construction in the hope of receiving a "better" ring or returning for refund. Unfortunately I fear the next ring may be less than perfect as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fire In Mine! I always wanted an opal ring. I bought one years ago Australian ... small one though. It cracked. Never replaced it . I saw this one presented and because it was in gold, which I think is the prettiest with opal, I decided to give it a try. I canceled the order before it arrived but qvc sent it anyway by mistake. Well, I opened the box and the angels sang! It is gorgeous. All colors dancing in this opal. The ring has a substantial amount of gold, and the ct size is just plain awesome. I love it! Btw .. qvc sent their apologies in a letter and said I could return it free of charge. Thanks q.. you are the best!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from So Disappointing I have been looking for decades for an opal ring with a large stone. I thought when I saw this on the T.V. my prayers were answered. When I opened the package the color was white with no color. I looked at it closer and saw a little pink, but no other color. And it was so much smaller than the one they showed on T.V. Back it goes. I am happy for the ones that got a good stone but I can't keep this one. I wouldn't wear this even if it was free.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful I am an October birthday and have several beautiful Australian opals. I ordered this ring because of the hype, size, and sale price. After I ordered it, I got to thinking it looked familiar, and I checked my order history and found that I had ordered the same ring earlier, and at a higher price, but had returned it because the ring I received was blah with little color. It was a total disappointment. When I realized this, I went on line to cancelthis order but it was too late. As a result, I've anxiously awaited the delivery of this ring, and was blown away by the beauty and dancing colors in the stone. I see it alive with reds, greens, and yellows, with only a small amount of blue.Other writers have indicated the zircons are disappointing, but few people will even notice the zircons because of the fire in the opal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazingly Beautiful This is one of the most beautiful opals I have ever seen. It is large, clear, with a full spectrum of color. I am not crazy about the setting and will change it in the future. It is worth the price just for the stone. I wear a size seven and it fits perfectly. It is quite extravagant but I don't think I will ever get the opportunity to buy a stone like this again. I bought it at a one day only price and on six easy pays. Thank you QVC.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this ring! I've been looking for a showy, yet classy, large vertical oval opal ring for a long time. When I saw this one offered I ordered it immediately, especially as it was on Easy Pay. When it arrived I was sooo happy! The stone is perfect...as large as it appeared on TV, and the sparkle is amazing indoors. Outdoors, in the sun it fairly dances with color reflections. I ordered a size nine, for my left ring finger, as my knuckle has enlarged, re: a slight injury. I loved it so much, after a few months, I ordered another one in size eight for my right finger. Yes, I know it's extravagant, but I'm seventy+ years old...so what am I waiting for?! Upon arrival, I was happy with the sparkle, but the size of the new stone is noticeably smaller in diameter, and height than my first one. The zircon baguettes are a good frame for the stone, and the six prongs are nice for security. The settings are sturdy enough, and the smooth gold under stone part is designed to fully cover the finger...nice touch. No, I will not be wearing them together, and will keep both, but the noticeable size difference is a curiosity to me. Glad I ordered the first one when I did. I'll wear that one when I want to feel extra classy. (My forty year old daughter thinks I look like a dotty old fortune teller tarot card reading old biddy...wait 'till she inherits them...bet her opinion changes then!) The nicest ring/s I've ever ordered from QVC.
