Another Disappointment from EG I am so sad and really disappointed more than sad. I am on the hunt for a nice wider gold band ring to wear whenever I do not wear my wedding set. I am a big EG fan and was really hoping for the best with this ring. On the positive side, the ring is beautiful with a lovely shine. Now for the not so positive. I only wore this ring for less than a week and noticed it was scratched. Yes I understand that it is a plain gold band and the scratch marks would show up but not this soon. I have a smaller gauge plain gold band that I have been wearing for over a month and it has only a few small scratches that are not really noticeable . Also due to the way the inside of the ring is made, it cut into me and left red marks on my finger. I must have received a defective ring due to the positive reviews regarding the comfort level. I am really disappointed in EG's quality lately. I have many older pieces that have held up wonderfully and was really hoping for the same quality. This is my second ring that I have sent back because of poor quality. I hope EG goes back to the "good old days" of their quality. 04-01-13

Beautiful Ring Very happy with this purchase! I wanted this ring to wear as a wedding band when I traveled so I could leave my set in a safe place. This will definitely do the trick, and it is a beautiful bold look. Very comfortable too. 03-25-13

Wider than dimensions given I ordered this ring for myself. The ring is beautiful; however, it is wider than 3/4" and I was unable to wear it. I highly recommend the product but be advised that the ring is approximately 5/16" wide and sizing is a bit larger than most rings. I was disappointed that I was unable to wear the ring and had to return it to QVC. 09-11-12

Pleased With Purchase I recently bought this ring and while it is a lightweight ring, it is very nice to wear. The wide band looks very good as a plain wedding band. I like the idea of a ring that is easy to wear and this ring is so comfortable that I don't mind wearing it for long periods of time. I do see some scratches on the surface already, thus the four stars. I also bought it in my normal ring size and had no problems with sizing. 06-16-12

Very Shiny After reading all the reviews I still went ahead and ordered as I have been looking for a wider gold band ring. I have to say it's very shiny and perfect width. It's very comfortable but I did notice I have to make sure to dry my finger underneath when I get my hands wet as I seem to get a small rash. All in all the ring is very pretty and happy with my purchase. I have worn Eterna Gold for many years and have been happy with the quality. 01-20-12

PERFECT !!!!!!!! I knew this ring would be just perfect for me. It fit's like a dream, and is nice and smooth on the inside. Will order other Eterna Gold items in the fuure. I have an Eterna Gold bangle bracelet from so long ago, I can't even remember. It is still beautiful, and looks like the day I got it. It is one of my bracelets that I leave out, because I wear it so often. Knew the ring would be the same way, and I will wear it just as much as my bracelet. What else would you expect from Eterna Gold?? 11-11-11

TOO LIGHT I opened it up and it was beautiful. However, when I took it out, it felt like plastic,. It was sooooo light. I couldn't see spending that much money for a "14K gold band" that felt like I got it from the .99 Store. Sorry..just had to send it back. 09-27-11

NO WEIGHT?? This band is so cheap. I took it to see the appraisal? 45.00...... I was floored. It is not worth the price. Mine also has scratches, all over it. 08-02-11

scratches easily I have had this ring for two weeks and it is has scratches all over it. I am going to have to send back. I thought Eterna Gold was supposed to be stronger and more scratch resistant that other gold....apparently that is not true. 07-23-11

Suprise! I Scratched it!? Don't know how I did it, but after wearing this ring for 1 day, I have 3 scratches in it. Returning it in tomorrows mail. I'm shocked! I also know that QVC will make good and send a new one. Perhaps I got a "lemon'? Will try again and see what happens. 07-19-11
