While the pendant is lovely, the chain is too delicate. It's hard to clasp and the chain is easy to break. I've only had this piece for two weeks and the second time I wore it...it was gone by the time I got home two hours later. I don't know if the chain broke or if the latch came undone but it's gone and I haven't even paid for it yet. I should have changed out the chain when I first saw it but sadly I didn't. Now I have to pay for something I no longer have.

My husband had bought me the band ring and the line bracelet that go with this pendant. I love both of them and I love this too. Like the other two items it is even more beautiful in person. It is believable in it's size and looks like a very fine piece of jewelry. He compliments me every time I wear it and others do as well. I find the chain to be about what you normally see even if it were real emeralds and diamonds. It is dainty yet sufficient enough to carry the weight of the pendant and keep the focus on it. I'm happy and I encourage you to try it if you are a lover of green and emeralds.

First of all, the pendant itself is very pretty. The color of the sapphires is quite bright, so it's not going to be mistaken for real stones, but the diamonique sparkles well. The chain is truly cheap. For the price, why not a thin, sturdy box chain? And that's really what it comes down to for me. If this were maybe half the price, I'd be happy to put it on a different chain and keep it as a feminine, sparkly fashion jewelry piece. Mine is headed back.
