Wonderful Cookbook!
I have been collecting cookbooks for 40 years and this one goes to the top of the bookcase! The pictures are beautiful, the paper is excelent quality, love that it is hard back, the recipes are easy, no way out ingredients AND the first chapter is how to make quick desserts w/the help of ready made products! WOW!! I haven't even mentioned the receipes yet!! I can't mention just one recipe because I have made many and when made in my "temptations" my baked product looks just like the picture. Anyone who enjoys baking will love this cookbook.

Entenmanns at home?? YES!!
Excellent buy. I don't know about the other commentators.....but I'm happy as a clam. -- Nice illustrations , easy to navigate & well written. On top of that , where are you getting a HARD COVER book for under 15 bucks?? AAA+++ on this one!! A Real No Brainer People!! Thanks QVC

Many good recipes
I read the reviews before purchasing and decided to take a chance even though some were rather negative. I am so happy that I did. We love crumb cake and cannot find it locally in Alabama now that Publix has stopped making it. For my family the cost of the cookbook & shipping was worth it for just for that recipe; the white chocolate mocha cake and the brownie cheesecake recipes are added bonuses. I haven't tried other recipes, but I found several others that look interesting. As for needing to purchase Entenmann products to make the recipes, that is only the first chapter, less than a quarter of the book. A person can make the orange glazed loaf cake omitting the glaze for the recipes that call for loaf cake. Also, you can substitute homemade or any brand cookie chip cookies or brownies in some recipes in the Almost Homemade chapter.

NOT THE BEST COOKBOOK ON THE SHELF
There are not many recipes for the items you would buy in the supermarket in there. Was a bit disappointed.. Did send it back.

Just OK
Like some of their products sold at supermarket so bought the book: too many recipes made from their storebought items. I made some of the other recipes,certainly quick and easy to make but just OK. There are much better cooking/baking books out there.

Very enjoyable!
Love this cookbook! Enjoy the great pictures and simple list of ingredients. Made a couple of the recipes for Christmas and got rave reviews. Glad I added this one to my collection.

THIS IS A MUST HAVE COOKBOOK!!
I read the reviews and some were complaining that this cookbook uses the ready-made products. That is called "Semi-homemade", so what's the big deal?!?!? SO WHAT!!! I enjoyed baking several of the recipies including the smoothie made with cookies! I substituted vanilla flavored almond milk and also Splenda for the sweetner (just two packs used). It was GREAT! Try the book and YOU decide. I am so happy I didn't listen to the negative reviews - I now have a wonderful cookbook added to my collection and baking some wonderful things!

I bake alot during the holidays and was so excited to see diffent items featured. So far I've made 5 reciepes, easy and delicious. My family loved them.

content more that first observed
First look at this book's front section it looked like you had to buy Entenmann's products to follow the recipes. Each was an adaptation using one of their products. BUT the rest of the book you actually get basic recipes that would be the same as if you had purchased an Entenmman's product. e.g. You find a recipe for a basic butter loaf in the loaf section and then many other loaf recipes and then you can go back to the front of the book and use your homemade butter loaf as if is were an Entenmanns product. It does this with cookies and other items as well. Some of the best bars and loaf recipes I have ever seen are in this cookbook. Tried several so far and they are good. If you also use Temptations bakeware you will be delighted with the number of recipes in this book you can conbine with the various cookware pieces. I bought a second copy for my daughter. Great book. Pictures are mouth-watering as well. Recipes easy to follow.

I bake in a Cafe, and it is great. It had several recipes for things some customers have been asking for. I also love their products, so do the kids. Thanks so very much for this beautiful book. It's the best!

Entenmann's Is Living Up to Expectations!
We purchase from Grocer's Entenmann's Products. This Cookery Book allows Us to prepare the Same & Better Baked Delights. We Save Money. No worries about "freshness date" either. A real plus,since a "pet peeve" to buy an Almost expired item & then Zero Freezer Space. A Tome of Bakery Delights. Would Be A Wonderfull Gift for that Someone that May Have Been Forgotten during Holidays/or Another Special Date. Thank You for a True One Of A Kind. Nice to know,QVC had the Impossible to Find Item{s}. Thank You to Vendors,Books "Look Outers" & My Favavourite "Store" For All Items.QVC!

Great Book!
I looked at some of the other reviewers comments about this book only using Entenmann's products to make the recipes, but that is not entirely true. It does, in the first chapter of the book, contain recipes using their products, but after that over 2/3 of the book is recipes that you make yourself from scratch. The recipes look really yummy too! I'm so happy that I got this, and if the make from scratch recipes turn out as delicious as the Entenmann's products are from the store, then I will be really, really happy.
