Emjoi Emagine Corded Epilator
I have used this foir a year. Today I decided to use it and the batteries from Emjoi had leaked and ruined the epilator. The guarantee has expired so I'm out the money and s&h
Much better than shaving and cream hair removing
I expected pain but it wasn't bad, just a minor pinching on the legs. Haven't tried on the inner thighs yet. If Emjoi would come out with one specifically for the underarms that was effective and much less painful, I would buy it!
I'm only giving it 4 stars because I saw a similar one at Bed, Bath & Beyond for $20 less and because this is very painful on underarms.
Glad I bought it, though.
I'm Pleasantly Surprised!
I must admit I was hesitant to buy something that was going to yank my hair out by the root. However, this product worked incredibly well for me. I use it on my legs, even my inner thighs. I was expecting it to hurt, but it felt like a mild prickling sensation. Everyone has there own pain threshold. It removed ALL of my hair completely without having to go over and over it. My only issue is that sometimes I get ingrown hairs. I make sure that I keep my legs exfoliated with a body puff to prevent that. Overall I think this is a great product and it does what they say it should do. I recommend trying it.
works pretty well
This works pretty well on my legs. It hurt a bit at first but does not now; though it does cause red bumps sometimes. It can be difficult working around the knee area and the shinbone.
I cannot get it to work under my arms, though. It's not so much the pain and irritation/redness, it's that I just cannot get it positioned to actually remove any hairs. It only works for me on flat areas such as my legs.
Smooth legs for weeks!
I've tried everything to not have to shave my legs and to extend the time between using "instruments". Nothing has worked better than this product. For me it didn't hurt at all and it lasts for two to three weeks before I need to epilate again. I am absolutely thrilled and would recommend this product to anyone.
Worst purchase I've ever made at QVC
I purchased five of the Emjoi Erase models for gifts to be delivered by December 24th. They arrived after the post office closed. I decided to try mine before giving them all for after Christmas gifts. It does not work as explained on air. It was a huge waste of money and they are all going back.
Did not like it at all
This product did not work for me. Maybe if you have very fine hair it would work better. I have course hair on my legs and it didn't take the hair off. It was also painful, but the sales pitch was that there was a (sensation) what ever that means. She never come out and said it was painful, like I said maybe if you have very fine hair it would be ok. Too bad I had to pay almost $10.00 to send it back. Not happy with this purchase.
No more shaving
I was surprised this is not painful to me--and it works. I had heard epilators were painful to use and hesitated to try one. So glad I did. Only gave four stars due to price.
Better than the original
NO MORE BATTERIES!!!!
MORE TWEEZERS< COVERING LARGER AREA
BIG TIME SAVER!!!
Love love the original but this is better..............batteries are expensive and now I don't have to hope I have some on hand when they go dead!!
I just purchased this product and decided to try it this evening. Wow, it worked effectively and with very litle discomfort. I felt only minimal pinching. Many years ago I pruchased an epilator and used it on my legs. It was very painful!!! I could not use it on sensitive parts of my legs and absolutely could not use it on the under arm area due to the intense pain. This product is a breeze. I would reccomend it to anyone not wanting to wax constantly. I like it so much that I am going to purchase two more; one for my college aged niece and one for my sister!
I treated myself to a smaller Epilator first. I use it for wayward facial hairs and wow is it better than waxing, I love it. Buzz-buzz and done. No sticky waxy mess. Sooooo....If little worked on the face, big should work on legs. Again, I love it, buzz-buzz-buzz and gone. Yes, at first it is a little stingy, but not bad. You must go over your legs a few days in a row to get all the hair that grew at different spurts (in the beginning). I've had mine over a year and no more stinging or stubbles.
So far, so good!
I've been using the Emjoi Emagine Corded Epilator for about one month, and really like it. Follow the instructions! It's important to exfoliate first (I use the body glove from The Body Shop). And don't use any moisturizer prior. I use the Emjoi on my legs and arms. It takes about 10 - 15 minutes - tops. The sensation is less painful than waxing, and about the same or greater than a laser. This is such a time saver, no more trips to get waxed.
