Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not Totally Pleased Love the way this fryer cooks, but the coating is flaking off the grate. Would like a replacement grate with a durable coating.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from poor design After about 6 uses the coating on the trivet and baskets is peeling off. I love the ability to fry with out oil but am dissatisfied with the quality of the product.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Really Like This But...... Love this air fryer however the baskets and the trivet are terrible! The coating comes off and there is no way to use this! Why did emeril promote this kind of workmanship?

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works but... We've used this to cook several things...chicken, chicken wings, fish steak, fries and veggies. All cooked great but from the first use the non coating started coming off the grill plate(the round thing you put your food on to cook). More and more of the coating disappears after each use. I have not used the pot or the baking pan yet so not sure how well they hold up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Appliance I don't understand the negative reviews. I have had wonderful success with this fryer. It is easy to regulate the temperature and easy to adjust any recipe to it. For example, when preparing frozen foods (i.e., french fries, etc.) if the package says to bake for 20 minutes at 400 degrees, simply drop the temperature by about 25 degrees to 370 or 375 and start checking the fries after 10 minutes. It also is good to shake the basket to turn the fries over. I have also cooked a strip steak in the air fryer to medium rare. Came out juicy and delicious. I have not had any problem with the flaking of the nonstick material issue. I do, however, wash the basket, etc., by hand shortly after using it. Takes all of 30 seconds! If you would let it set and go back to wash it, it probably would be more difficult - also "scrubbing" may attribute to the flaking problem.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed Have watched air fryers several times on QVC trying to convince myself to try one. I ordered the Emeril air fryer and was so excited. I love the outcome of the food, however I hate the way the interior finish is coming off. I've never used an abrasive tool on it so can't understand the way it's not holding up. Wish I had waited for Meridith's air fryer. Am really disappointed and may chuck this one and try a better air fryer. I trust Cook's Essential brand, but certainly do not trust an Emeril product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Defect I’ve had mine for about 2 months and the grid on the inside is flaking. The coating is coming off onto my food. I call the number on the manual and they said it is a known manufacture defect. So why is this product still for sale?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Air Fryer I've Used I had thought of these fryers as something of a waste. Digital models were unduly complex, some models were too large, another was too small. Let's call this one Goldilocks. It's simple to use and capacity was increased without increasing over all size thanks to the single basket construction which I really like. All the accessories were included and l've had none of the problems other purchasers have encountered. It's the most quiet fryer, too. This is a great air fryer and I never thought I would say that! Pay no attention to the fact that I don't recommend it. It is my practice to never recommend products or services. Saves a alt of arguments!
