Elisabeth Hasselbeck Freemotion Smartrun 2.0 Treadmill
Horrible Experience - DO NOT BUY - APRIL 2013
The only positive thing I will say about this machine is that the delivery was estimated for a month but came in one week. However, when the machine arrived, there was only ONE delivery person and he was a small man. I had to help him get the machine out of the truck and into the house. On top of it I tipped him bc I felt bad for him! I paid someone to put it together and he said it was pretty easy, directions were a little bit confusing, nothing major. After installation, the first time I used and went to connect my IPod, I realized the speakers were completely blown. Any music that came out sounded like total static and you couldn't even hear the music. When I called the 800# to report, I was on hold for 34 minutes BEFORE an operator even answered and when I expressed my annoyance for being on hold for so long, she ignored me and didn't even acknowledge what I said. After 50 minutes of being on phone, the company decided to approve my request and they are sending a new front unit. They made it seem they were doing me a favor when in fact, I wouldn't settle for anything less. The machine is brand new! Also, the 4 metal pieces (monitor heart rate) are not glued on, they are hanging on (barely) by a wire, I figured, no problem, I will just Crazy Glue the pieces back on. Well, crazy glue didn't work. I have no idea what to do now. So aggravated.......Wouldn't recommend this machine at all.
****One last thing....this machine DOES NOT HAVE A WATER BOTTLE HOLDER, sounds silly but kinda aggravating when your dying of thirst and have to stop and get off to get a drink!!!! What treadmill doesn't have a water bottle holder???
Nice Treadmill but had issues at first...
I received my treadmill within 7 business days of my order. There was only 1 delivery man and to say the least, I was very upset. He had a very hard time delivering the treadmill by himself. He finally got my treadmill in my front door after 30 minutes. He was not happy about it either. I have 4 steps to my front door. After he left, I opened the box only to find the bottom right foot was broken! What a disappointment! I then had to call the company, and request the part. Well, they could not rush ship it to me, so it took 10 days to receive the new part! I could not use my treadmill for over 2 wks. I originally called QVC and made a complaint. They did get back to me but said they are sorry and will let the company know for next time to send another delivery person. It did not sit well with me so after waiting the extra 10 days for my new part, I called and complained again-I asked if they could give me a small refund for my troubles. QVC called me back and refunded me $75. I thought this was a nice gesture.
After finally using my treadmill, I have to say I really like it. I have been walking an hour a day. I run too but I haven't ran much on it yet. Everything is so nice about it, so I am happy with it.
Great Value, Service & Product
I received the treadmill in a timely manner with no defects, which is an accomplishment, as we live in a small mountain town. Assembly was extremely easy & only took me about an hour and a half. The unit is very sturdy, but does not take up too much space.
I have been working out on it for only a couple of weeks, but am in love with with the quality and features of this treadmill! The iFit Live makes my workouts guess-free and is such an encouragement! I, too, enjoy the fact that multiple family users have their own iFit Live account as well.
I look forward to my daily workouts!
I am a runner and this is our second treadmill. The first one was a proform treadmill and got ride of it because it took up way too much space. This treadmill does not take up nearly as much space and you can fold it up and have even more space if you want. It is extremely sturdy and we have had no problems with it what soever. Received treadmill in a timely manner and had no problems with delivery and my husband put it together in about 2hrs with no complaints. The ifit connected with no problems and we love it. It does just about everything you want it to do. I have used it for 1 week running 3miles a day and I see major results. And may I also add that you can add family members to ifit so they can set up work outs and track their progress. Oh and the price is great!!!!!!
love it the only issue we had is the company that brang it the man could not lift it so my husband had to do all the work its 300 pounds at least other than that it works great no issues
So far so good
Treadmill was delivered quickly however the delivery service has a difficult time following instructions.
Crate and pallet were intact with no apparent damage however, when my son and I unpacked it we found that one of the back feet was broken off. Also two of the heart rate sensors were hanging loose. Super glue fixed them.
Called the customer service line and was very pleased with the level of service I received. The rep sent out a new foot right away and now it's complete and working fine.
The frame is sturdy metal and appears to be equal with gym type treadmills.
I love my new treadmill, I have been using it for 2 weeks now and walk and jog on it. I am a bigger girl and it is stable.
I mostly do my own speed adjustment but really like the quick speed buttons, instead of hitting the speed button up and down a hunderd times to go from fast walking to jogging.
I have used the ifit once and that seems to have many advantages to progress with.
I read the reviews before I bought the treadmill and I just want to mention my box did not come riped or damaged.
Although assembly did require 2 people and some upper body strength.
I was a little worried after I ordered this, because of the reviews about shipping. And I will tell ya, I was extremely worried when it arrived. The box looked like it had been around the country a few times. Holes and packing tape was all I could see. I opened it and carried everything downstairs by myself. (30 yr old female) Luckily I have carpet on my stairs, so with my 10 yr olds help(sorta), I slid the base carefuly downstairs. It took me about 2 hours to put it together. Wasn't hard and everything went together fine. I think this thing is super cool. My husband and kids agree. The only minor complaint I have is about the belt. And I might not just know enough about treadmills, but it seems a little loose. I feel like it should be tighter. But again, could just be me, this is my first treadmill. Got 3 miles in last night, my husband did 1, and my kids probably played on it 30 minutes. this was continuous. So far so good. Very happy I ordered it. Oh, and my ifit connected right away and works great.
My Hasselbeck Freemotion Treadmill
Hi, I just like to say that this is a quality made machine which I am enjoying. I see the same quality as gym treadmills. I would recommend this item to anyone. I love that I can stay in my home and workout on my own treadmill. It only took my husband an hour and a half to put it together. Ummm two of the screws did not fit correctly but that was resolved with a little elbow grease. Also, MyFit has not worked since I received it so I may have to move it to another part of my home. All in all, I rate my treadmill 5 stars.
We've had this treadmill for 2 weeks and really like it. Very stable. Works great. Had some issues in assembly and the two back feet were broken off, but was still able to put it together and function just fine. Highly recommend.
I am definitely satisfied with this treadmill. My daughters and I have given up the gym to workout at home. Assembly was easy but you definitely need two people to put it together. Also when it was delivered the back right foot was broken but I called up and received the part within a few business days. When we run on it, it sounds a little louder than the treadmills at the gym but my husband tells us that's because the gym has high ceilings and loud music so we never realized the noise.
Delivery was a kill-joy
Wanted to love this machine. And I use but not as often as I should. It was delivered by an older man with a huge crowbar and noone to help. He drug it off the truck (wham)attempted to drag it up the drive, so I had the kids help him get it in before I had to call an ambulance for him. The box is obviously marked with safe moving instructions, but with the drag down off the truck, ect. I was not surprised when as I was assembling it (did not take long, not difficult) little metal pieces fell out. Now when we run on it, the belt slides to the side and I find myself pushing laterally to recenter as I walk/jog-it torks the knee and the discomfort limits my desire to use it. It makes a discomforting noise whan adjusting, so I leave it at same incline. I should have sent it back but as others mentiond, the box gets demolished as you take the parts out and I would never be able to reconfigure it back in.
