So good it will make you WANT to vacuum
Can't believe I'd be endorsing a vacuum - but this is great and I'd buy more if it were available - and if someone wouldn't think I'm weird giving them a vacuum.
This thing gets more dirt up than a "regular" vacuum and has really neat features like the lights and swivel. It pushes so easy and I use it on the floor and carpet. Have even used it in the car. Hope it comes back! Definitely worth the money.

Love This Stick Vac
I use my stick vac daily. Great for pet hair and just everyday quick cleaning. It picks up amazingly on both my carpets and laminate flooring. Really can't say enough about how much I love it, one of my most favorite q purchases!

Fabulous household helper!
Love this lightweight little vac! This is not meant to replace your regular vacuum, but to add a simple solution for those annoying, everyday little mishaps like pet hair, spilled sugar, flour, dry cereal, coffee grounds, etc. I can't say enough about the convenience of picking up this lightweight vacuum and sucking up the offending little mess rather than dragging the big heavy beast out of the closet and plugging it in for a small 5 minute job. Even a broom and a dustpan is more trouble and leaves behind a lot of residue. I don't mind the small capacity since I use this little Electrolux often and empty it after every use even though it isn't anywhere near full. For me, this is a winner!

Very Disappointed
This appeared to be just great when demoed but when I got it home was very disappointed. Will not work on carpet with pile. Works fine on flat surface. On carpet when pulled back head will flip over backwards. I've had 2 other Electrolucx vacs that were wonderful. Think this one has a design flaw or should be advertised for floors & carpets without pile. Had to send back.

Good product for the price
It works well on laminate floors but not so on carpets as it is too hard to push and pull across them. The battery lasts about 20 minutes after it has charged all day, the suction is not the greatest and it has to be emptied often. However, great concept and good price.

Love the Shearclean feature
I have always had long hair that seems to end up everywhere & cause vacuums to break. The Shearclean feature works very well & does exactly as it advertises. The cannister is small & will require you to empty more often. It works okay on carpet. Not great, but okay. It does not like when there are any kind of bumps or creases in the carpet though. I would love for the Shearclean technology to become available on a deeper cleaning (or regular) vacuum! I love having a cordless vacuum! Amazing how much easier vacuuming seems when you're not constantly worried about the cord in the way or being long enough to reach that last 2 feet! Overall, I'm glad I got it, but I do wish it'd like carpets a bit more!

Crumbs be gone!
I have a lot of tile in my home and bought this sweeper for quick pick-up jobs. One of the reasons I bought it was due to the Electrolux name and the quality associated with their products. It is handy and works great especially in the kitchen and dining nook areas. It is easy to use and glides very easily over the floor.There are a couple of things that would make it even better: a larger dust cup and the ability to stand the vacuum upright when you want to put it down but are NOT near the recharger platform. Overall I am very happy with this product.

not enough suction power
I was so excited to get this little vac for my new house but bummed out with the lack in the suction power of this vac and has no suction along the sides of it other wise I love every thing else about it and also battery time is not long enough, I can not do all my wood floors at once which is a bummer. If the suction was better it would be 5 stars. I may send it back but going to give it a try for a few more days.

Loooove It!
This vacuum is the best! I have a small apartment with 2 cats and am constantly cleaning! This is so quiet for the amount of suction it has! It also transitions great from carpet to bare floors! I also love the lighted end so you can truly see how clean your floors get!

Does the job and more.
I have 3 dogs and a cat. I am always cleaning the furbunnies esp. with my collie. This is easy to use and devours the fur and anything else. I also use it to vaccum my stairs and my couch. I don't have to worry about the electric cord anymore.

Best hand/stick vac I have bought.
I am very happy with this vac and it is doing what I wanted to use it for. Main use is for kitchen but it also is good to pick up off the carpet and don't have to get the big vac out.

good vac
Let me clarify for some people who actually are looking for an accurate product review this is a new release from electrolux (April 2012 according to electrolux). There were others similar to this one.....but not this one.I read the reviews called electrlux, there was no battery recall for this model as the rep stated to me. I have owned this one now for about a week. I bought it because I was tired of the dust when sweeping, and bending over. I have hardwood floors and tiles in my home, 3 small dogs, kids and grandkids. I use this daily in my kitchen, picking up crumbs or whatever falls of the table and counters, I have also used it in my bathroom for the hair that falls on the floor. It does the job well. It picks up everything, the battery has not died on me yet while I am cleaning. Very easy to use,the little handvac is easy to use and easy to clean, love it.
