Electric Portable Cooker w/ Steamer Insert is rated 3.6 out of 5 by 55.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cooker?? I'm not sure if it's appropriate to call this a cooker as much as it is a warmer. It goes to 160 deg and stays there. Great for taking your lunch to work and putting it in this "cooker/warmer" a couple of hours before lunch time and having a nice hot lunch sitting there waiting for you. Come on..... It even has a Stainless Steel insert. Nests down into a small container with its removable cord. I've used it for warming sausage and peppers and even tenderloins. Little steamer insert is really handy too or even to just separate your goodies. Looks like a few people don't understand that it won't really cook things even though it looks like a rice cooker.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from CUTE AND HELPFUL I have used this several times to heat up my Stew or leftovers at work. I think it did a nice job and it was nice not to have to microwave my food. I plugged it in and let it work for me! I like it and will use it now and then!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst purchase on QVC So cheap and so useless. Doesn't even heat up rice well. Not worth the effort to return it and have the shipping deducted. Should have paid attention to other reviews. Worst purchase I've ever made on QVC (Quality Value Convenience)--does NOT meet such standards. Very disappointing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great item for its intended purpose I purchased this item in February, 2016 in Red. I felt the presentation was very clear when describing the item as an appliance to "keep food warm" and "heat up previously cooked items". Thus, I had no expectation that this would work as an appliance to cook raw foods. I use it primarily for taking food to my office (leftovers and pre-cooked convenience foods).

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not much better than pencil holder! Was looking forward with great expections, what a let down, took 40 minutes to warm water. Thought it would be comparable to Cooks Essentials @250w,or WOLFGANG PUCKS 200 watt rice maker, I guess with only 40watts, it's a poor imitation of the others. With price tag lowered to $12, your customer will do better to double price and purchase the others. QVC SHOULD REMOVE THIS ITEM, and keep their reputation. I would return item, but not worth the effort! SORRY-VERY DISAPPOINTED LONG TIME CUSTOMER!
