Following my wonderful Customer Service Rep's recommendation, I called the Dash manufacturer to find out how the Pitcher part of this Dual Juicer works.
First, notice none of the pictures shown on QVC or the manufacturer's web do you see a cord. However, where the cord is attached are two notches that the cord can be tucked away. Tucked away does not mean you can store juice in a pitcher with a cord.
The manufacturer said to twist the base off and then you’ll have a pitcher. I said “I cannot get it off; the other day my son tried and he could not get it off”. Finally I concluded I will have to return to QVC because I cannot open it.
Instead of packing it up I continued to try and get this Juicer to work. Still trying to figure out the pitcher part I thought I would see how the top lid worked incase the base could come off. I removed all the juicer parts and then could not get the lid to fit securely in its correct position. Matching the opening for the pouring lip I could no longer place the lid inside the pitcher. However, when I put the juicer parts back, the lid snapped shut.
To wrap up, if you decide to purchase this Dual Juicer and Pitcher, be sure to have a plastic bag to keep all the components and parts. It seems that one could easily misplace a small part and then there would be no Dual Juicer and Pitcher.
That is of course assuming, you figured a way to keep the juice in the pitcher with a base and lid securely fit. For me I am consider this product defective and am packing it up for good to be returned. Besides all the was mentioned it is also was difficult to open and close the pulp dispenser completely. If I did not want pulp I probably would have had a problem.
The concept of the Dual Juicer and Pitcher might be just a bit over ambitious.

I love this bright and cheery juicer and used it right away. It works well and quietly. Squeezed out all delicious juice from a red grapefruit in like five seconds. Very nice little pitcher too.

I have not had the motor ceasing problem that others have had. My complaint is that the cord should be removable. It is always in the way when pouring or storing in the fridge. It would be nice to store in the same receptacle instead of having to move to a storage device.

The second time I used this juicer, the motor quit. I thought maybe I was applying too much pressure, but it wouldn't start up again. Also, I can't figure out how to make the lid fit. I guess this one goes in the trash.
Rated 5 out of 5 by armecia LOVE THIS JUICER
This is the best juicer that I have ever owned and the easiest one to use. It takes the juice out of my oranges, I can control the amount of pulp and it is very easy to clean. I have had a more expensive juicer that does not hold a candle to this one. I would highly recommend this juicer to anyone out there who wants to make your own orange juice with no additives. I love, love, love this juicer.

This is a nice little juicer. It's so easy to use that my grandkids can help to make juice. My only concern is that it seems a little fragile. It's entirely plastic and the top doesn't really attach to the container. I don't think it will hold up under heavy use or in a large family. But for occasional use, it's great.

This product is a reasonably-priced, effective alternative to purchasing a much more expensive replacement product for me. It does the job I need, efficiently and adequately..

Do not buy! This is a real review from a real customer. I know you may ask yourself if these reviews are real. Yes mine is real. First of all, I was excited when I first saw this product. I love the concept. Looks easy to use and clean. I was on it, I bought two.
I used it for the first time and it worked for like 5 mins then the motor suddenly stopped. I tried troubleshooting (all it recommends for trouble shooting is making sure nothing is stuck at the top). The trouble shooting didn't work. I called customer service they offered a replacement or refund. I opt for the refund because other reviews had mentioned they was having the same problem. The customer rep said "I would have to pay to return the second one because you don't know if it is not going to work." I purchased the second one as a gift for a friend but I didn't want to give a gift that eventually would stop working. Fine so I kept the second one to test it out. Low and behold the second one did exactly what the first one did. It worked then died out. I'm returning both now. I might opt to buy the ninja juicer. It's a little more expensive around $89.99 but I may get better quality.
