About QVC Sheets

Thread count refers to the number of threads per square inch of fabric. Thread count alone does not ultimately determine softness, but it does predict the weight and airflow of the fabric. All QVC sheet sets offer a minimum thread count of 300, with select sets measuring in with a thread count as high as 1,000.

Fast Facts
A sheet with a high thread count may not yield a softer sheet. Softness comes from a combination of factors including the weave, type of cotton, treatments (such as an anti-wrinkle coating), and thread count. Depending on the manufacturing processes, sheets that contain a thread count of 300-400 can be as soft or softer than one with a thread count of 1,000.

Traditional Blend
The traditional blend utilizes cotton's natural ability to allow fabrics to breathe and wick away moisture. This blend mixes long and short fibers when twisting them into threads.

Egyptian Cotton
Widely considered to be one of the highest qualities of cotton available, Egyptian cotton is grown in Egypt and consists of fibers which are longer, resulting in a silkier thread.

Supima® Cotton
This is the name used to promote textile and apparel products made with 100% American Pima cotton, grown in the southwestern United States. The staple length of Supima is 35% longer than regular cottons. This increases softness and luster. And since fewer fiber ends are exposed, it minimizes the effects of abrasion, resulting in less pilling. The Supima trademark is a registered trademark of Supima Association of America.

The type of weave and construction used for sheets can vary from ornamental to something functional. Variations in weave and fiber used in sheet construction will affect the characteristics of the cloth. Some fibers and constructions will breathe more and other combinations can keep you warm and cozy.

Sateen
Consists of a twill weave with threads layered over one another, exposing a longer thread on the fabric surface. Imparts a smooth, silky feel against the skin.

Percale
Made with a balanced and closely woven plain weave. The percale construction is both durable and smooth to the touch. Sheets made with 100% cotton percale feel smooth and crisp to the skin.

Pique
Pique sheets are designed to achieve a textured appearance with a soft touch. Its high and low texture is created during the knitting or weaving processes. Pique construction is made by spinning two yarns together to create a stronger yarn that's soft and supple.

Wrinkle Defense® Technology
The Wrinkle Defense process is designed to decrease the appearance of wrinkles for up to 50 wash cycles. It provides a durable, soft, and smooth sheet surface when the care instructions (included) are properly followed.

Flannel
Flannel is a material that's woven and put through a brushing process that lifts the threads to create air pockets that impart a soft and fuzzy feel. When comparing flannel sheets, look for weight rather than thread count. A quality flannel material is in the 5-6 oz range.

Jersey Knit
Threads in a jersey knit material are knit around one another rather than woven. This construction gives the fabric some stretch (or "give") for a soft and comfortable feel. It feels like sleeping in your favorite T-shirt!

Microfiber
Polyester is often used in this sturdy and durable material with manmade threads. It's also easy to care for, has fewer wrinkles than comparable sheets, and looks great with prints and bright colors. Sheet sets with a higher weight are often brushed for a soft, suede-like feel.

Polarfleece®
This fabric is soft, comfortable, warm, dries quickly, and is durable for long-lasting good looks.

Jacquard
Jacquard refers to both a type of loom weave and the cloth produced by such looms. The jacquard process allows for intricate designs and textures to be woven into the material itself.

Rayon
One of the oldest manufactured fibers dating back to the 1880s in France, rayon was originally developed as an alternate to silk and has a naturally smooth and soft texture. The material has strong moisture-wicking properties to help keep you cool and comfortable.

Easy Tuck 300TC 100% Cotton Sheet Set 3 5 31 31
very bad after you wash them they have pills every where. I put mine in the trash!! 08-07-14
what a disappointment Loved these sheets when I first got them. However, after several washing according to directions, they became rough with pills. I can't even sleep on them anymore and have to throw them out. What a waste of money! ! 11-10-13
Easy Tuck These are a great idea. The easy tuck works nice, but the problem is that the sheets pill really badly. The top sheet even pilled and it gets no friction from body movement. 11-02-13
Great Great to get away from Polyester and other mixes that just end up giving away. Would love cotton, now made in USA as was many years ago. 11-02-13
Easy and fast I have three sets of these, all white. these are the best sheets . Yes they are a little thin but I love to change my sheets two times a week, and they are really fast to put on. It would be nice if some of the other company's would make there sets the same way. Also the top sheet does not come off when you sleep, you know when your feet poke out the bottom. 08-12-13
horrible I bought these sheets because of the ease. Unfortunately, they are horrible. I washed them and they were so wrinkled and they look horrible. After I washed them, they started to "pill" and are so cheap looking. I usually love the sheets I buy from QVC but I would not recommend these to anyone. By the time I washed them for the first time, it was too late to send them back, but I would have if I could. 07-31-13
first time for this product I am disabled and found these sheets very easy to put on bed. Took me half the time to make bed. Hurray !!! As for the quality, I have no problem. i prefer the light weight for those hot nights, they are cooler. I called to find out if QVC will continue to sell them, the operator was unsure. Would be a nice wedding gift. 07-09-13
Good Concept These sheets are great. I believe someone on this site writing a good deal of negative reviews is just a Hater. It is not pronounced EZ it is Easy Tuck. These Sheets stay on the bed perfectly and wont fall off. Quality of the sheets could be better. I will continue buying these sheet sets as long as they begin using better material. Definitely makes it a whole lot Easier when I make my bed. Thank you. 07-02-13
Horrible Purchase The material started to "pill" 4th day on the bed. Never again! There should be a "no star" rating for this item. 06-23-13
The best idea ever,,,, I've had these sheets on my my bed for almost a week, and my 6" husband has not kicked the top sheet off from the bottom AT ALL during that time!! I am SO impressed that I will be buying a second pair. The sheet quality itself is not what I'm used too, the thread count is not as high as I usually buy. But I'm no longer struggling every morning remaking the sheets literally from top to bottom and that's worth little things I might have to do without!!! Due to the lower thread count I had to give 4 stars, but I really feel they deserve 5! 06-19-13
Disappointed in Quality i needed a new set and ordered two. One I have washed and put on bed. They are very thin. Extremely disappointed in the EZ tuck feature. The sheet does not cover the end of the mattress. So much for EZ tuck. 06-16-13
Poor Quality I love the concept of these sheets and would order another set in a heartbeat if they were better quality.. In no time at all, these sheets pilled really badly. I've never had sheets do this before. They are so thin, I was able to watch TV through the sheet. Why not make a good quality sheet with the easy-tuck feature? They are very soft but need to be made of better quality cotton. 06-11-13
