Rated 4 out of 5 by from A Replacement for a Really Good One So far so good. This iron(blue) is a replacement for a Rowenta Advancer 1800 purchased almost 10 years ago from QVC. I loved that iron! Unfortunately the wire near the plug wore out--over heated, eventually melted the wire covering, sparked, burned and disintegrated. But I had it for 10 years! Came to QVC for a replacement and this one popped up from the search. It is lighter than my first, works just fine, so far. No problems with slow heating or spitting water. I hope that it lasts 10 years. These are expensive irons that I would only purchase from QVC. I believe that I get my money's worth.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Best of the Best This iron is only sold by QVC. You can purchase the same iron most everywhere but the 3D soleplate makes it unique to QVC. When I was a young man in High School, I was in ROTC and we were mandated to wash and iron our own uniforms and were not allowed to have them done by the cleaners or by our Mothers. That was the only time in my life I ever ironed anything. All of my shirts, suits and everything but underwear went to the cleaners to be laundered and dry cleaned. Or, all through my life, before and during marriage, we always had a housekeeper to do whatever ironing and maintaining of clothes that were necessary. Now at seventy, my wife is deceased and children and grandchildren are living in Europe, and I have come down from a very large home to a very small apartment sans housekeeper and finding myself ironing only my bed linens. Still, my shirts and suits go to the cleaners. This iron makes quite a difference from the 1960's and ironing those thick cotton ROTC khaki uniforms, I can tell you. This iron is a blessing from heaven. The bed linens are very fine 1000 CT Sferra Brothers linens and I was afraid this might too much steam and iron for them, but the Rowenta seems to know just how much steam for fine, expensive, Italian cotton without burning or scorching and even though the wrinkles are abundant when they come out of the dryer (can't be helped), this 1800 Watt iron takes the wrinkles out even if over-dried as well if left slightly damp. I can't understand anyone buying any other brand of iron other than Rowenta (this is my fourth in 30 years), but this iron especially is the best of the bunch. Too bad not everyone knows that this one special iron is only sold only by QVC. Hopefully, this will last me until I am no longer on Earth.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not very good I have owned several Rowenta Irons over the years, this one is such a disappointment. It takes to long to heat up and it's no better than the much cheaper versions of Rowenta. If you are going to charge more money then make it a better iron!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wrong color I love the iron they just sent me out the wrong color. I ordered the blue one and they send me out the burgundy one.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from My fault for not returning I was an idiot to not open this up in time and send it back. My fault really and I am stuck with an overpriced terrible iron. Brand new out of the box and I needed it for the first time in an emergency to iron an very wrinkled (on arrival) new Lisa Rinna blouse that I love. Barely heats up and as others have said it is very heavy! Absolutely no steam function to steam a garment upright. Barely spits out water on that function either. What a huge disappointment QVC. Way, way too late for me to send back but a terrible purchase and I really lost money on this one. My old barely working iron worked better.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from It keeps spitting water Have no idea how to avoid this. I carefully followed directions. Emptied of water when not using. It spits. I have an older one that does not do this. Yes it does press clothes nicely like my other Rowenta from years ago but for the spitting!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Friend To My Clothes! I dress in business attire every day, but I also iron my weekend wear. (I feel my best when my clothes are clean and pressed.) I've owned a Rowenta for over 10 years. It was time for me to to upgrade and QVC has the lowest prices on Rowenta. I decided on this item V34571. OMG - it's like getting driving a new car!!! If you want to treat your clothing to the best: then you must get this Rowenta. Your clothes deserve it and so do you!
