Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not Worth the Cost The issue with this vacuum is that in spite of its claim to not loose suction, it looses suction. I have to keep emptying the canister. The fur jams up in the container, emptying it requires you take the entire canister off . Then using your hands you have to pull the hair or dust or whatever out of the darn thing. I swore I would never buy a canister vacuum again, but I got worn down by the reference to Dyson having such great tech developments. Not so much. II had a Dirt Devil that did as good a job and lasted for years. I am so unhappy with this purchase and the $400 spent . Buyer Beware, this is nothing special. Now I have to go get something that does not make me mad to vacuum, and just simply does the job.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from GARBAGE - THREW IT OUT This vacuum worked great for about 30 days - exactly the time of the return window. I bought it in September and by January it was worthless. "Proper amount of suction"??? Hardly! Quite the reverse. It started blowing dust in every direction. I tried every which way to clean it, looked up repair videos on YT - nothing worked. I went back to my Shark Rocket which cleaned my room in about 3 minutes. I have 2 cats and a small apartment with heavy traffic (I work at home) and the Shark left a lot to be desired but it's clearly better than the Dyson. Stay away!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst ever This is my second Dyson, and by far the poorest functioning one. Does not pick up pet hair, on carpet, only works well on floors. Sorry I did not send back.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not up to standard. Little suction and it clogs up. Will not pick up animal hair or small objects. Started out ok but three months later not up to par. Disappointing. Also difficult to empty. After many attempts to correct problems, will now look for another

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Overpriced Very hard to push and low suction power. Not to mention it's a heavy vacuum for being so small. Would not recommend.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from save your money Had to try it because of all the hype.. wish i hadn't. awkward and heavy trying to maneuver using your wrist because of the design. anyone with any sort of arthritis or dexterity issues will not be able to use it. The latch system used to put it in an upright "resting" position is useless.. constantly tips over backwards.. you need to fiddle with it a few times to get it to stand alone. stupid... when using the attachment feature you need to be holding the base or the thing tips over at the very slightest pull and stops suction.. I cannot stress how much i dislike this thing. Unfortunately I dragged my feet in returning because when in a rush to get my chores done I constantly chose my old vacuum over this one. In the end it was a very bad purchase and would not recommend this to anyone.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointing I bought this model because I thought it would be lighter weight and easier to handle than a larger model. But there is no easy way to pick it up to move it from place to place, the dirt canister is so small it fills up several times to clean one room (and I need to use my hand to pull out the dirt from the canister), the lever/button to empty the container is light plastic and I can imagine it breaking readily. The suction is great--almost too strong. I would return if I had not waited past the 30 days to give it a try (I was out of town)
