I have 4 Dyson fans. Three (3) are heat/air combo. Last winter I never had to turn on house heat. Just used these. Yes it gets cold in Oklahoma but these were great! I use one in the garage for my cat. He loves it too! I have one on 24/7. No problems, just keep them clean!

Works very well and i love the color choices. It isnt loud at all and i love the tilt feature. We own the other model before this one and i must say the older model has the controls on the actual product and this model there aren't any but only a power button. So try not to lose the controller. You wont regret this purchase! (Not made for big rooms)

First of all ... it's alot of money to spend on a fan. I have a regular fan that is more quiet and gives off more air on low. You need to literally stand right in front of this fan to feel any air flow. The heat setting is only warm to say the least. It's going back!

When you spend $300.00 on a fan and the fan is cranked at high as it will go, you'd expect to feel the air at least 10 ft. away. I have it on the setting where the air is straight on toward me and the air hitting me is very weak. Also this fan is really loud. I don't mind it, because it is good for white noise, but if you are looking for quiet, your $300.00 won't buy it with this one. Mine does heat well though, but I need air blowing, not heat. First Dyson, always wanted one and won't go there again. Not unless I can try it out first at least.

I bought this for my son whose bedroom is the hottest room in the house in the summer and coldest in the winter. Keep in mind this is meant for small rooms like the bedroom. He is very happy.

I put the heat on (don't remember the temp setting off hand) and went out to walk the dog. When I got back and opened the door, the room, actually, the apartment (800 sf open concept) was warm. The fan was in a 14 x 32 foot room. I would suggest before you come to conclusions, try putting it on and leaving for awhile. I haven't read the book but the oscillation doesn't seem to come on at lower temps. I have to put up to 70, a red light comes on and then I know it will oscillate and I can turn the temp to where I want. But again, I haven't read the material that came with it yet. Very sleek and nice looking.

I finally bit the bullet and bought one of these. I'm sitting 2 feet from it with it on 77° and it's still not warm enough. I don't understand how they think this can heat an entire room. Going back in the box tomorrow. Absolutely disappointed in this Dyson product.
