works greatI bought two 1/2 acre units last year and I think I caught every bug that ventured into my property, When I let the dogs out at night to use the back yard, I noticed there weren't many bugs flying around the porch light as usual. We have a drain ditch near our house so we get a lot of bugs, moths and yellow jackets. We caught many of them. I think I will ask our local vector control if they want to look at the mosquitoes this year to test for the sitka virus, it would be an easy method for them to collect bugs. I bought two more this year and will give one to each of our kids to keep their yards free of harmful bugs. If any of you are reluctant to buy something like this, don't wait before they run out again like they did last year. these bug catchers do work and they work quietly.

works for us!I bought the smaller 1/2 acre size unit 2 years ago. It came with 2 bulbs, so needed to order a new bulb for this year. I live in Texas so the bug season is longer than most places. The one bulb lasted the full first year, then the second year I just put a new bulb in. I have it placed a bit away from my patio closer to my neighbor's lot line. Not sure what kind of bugs I am trapping, but it does trap a bunch. I wish the unit was easier to clean out. I find I only need to clean out about every 2-3 weeks.
